Started doing my exercises for lower back disc bulge issue. Very useful video as my physio told 6-7 exercises for 10 seconds each. Thanks for the video. I hope i will get better soon.
Perfect timing for jump height training. 10 sec is precisely enough to regain most energy and keep doing lots and lots of height jumps keeping your body in fast breathing and blood circulation mode. This is by far the most re-watched video on youtube by me. Thanks bro
I did 100 pushups in 2 minutes 44 seconds thanks to this timer. My method: do 10 pushups, take a 10 sencond brake then do 10 more pushups and repeat the process until you hit 100 pushups. Update: just got a new pr of 2:12
Really good for animal behavior study, curretly working on making ethograms and then analyzing animal behaviors. Good for Instantaneous sampling and one-zero sampling of behavior where you record in intervals.
Do a pushup ever time it beeps. In between, hold a plank. See how many beeps you can get over three attempts. Do the same for pullups, hanging between pullups, and see how many pullups you can get over three attempts. If you can't do any, just hang. Afterwards the push ups and pullups are done, walk it off for a full 30 mins, brisk. Do this 3x a week and you're golden for the next 3 months at least. Push yourself hard. If you're good, you should be able to get 50 pushups from all three pushup sets, and 30 pullups from all 3 pullup sets. Do all that, and stop drinking all liquids except water. 95% of you will lose weight and gain muscle. Good luck.
@Chris R Edwards That's why I said "If you're good, you should be able to..." I tried to qualify it. I know most people can't. That's also why I started the suggestion with hanging only, followed by a 30 min brisk walk. This should get people to build the prerequisite strength while starting to shed some lbs, if done consistently with small calorie deficit. Eventually if you can hang for a minute you can probably do a pullup, then you can build to two pullups and upwards. I just did 16 pullups at 195 and I don't train that hard, I just don't eat shit (sugar, fast food, pasta, bread) and I sweat at least 30 min everyday which usually includes either dips, pullups, goblet squats or cycling or walking. It's really not that hard. Just gotta do it every day and keep the shit out of your mouth. Anyways thanks for the comment, I know the average person is a hilarious weakling but they can change as soon as they've had enough.
@Chris R Edwards Thanks man! I hear ya... 130kg is certainly serious weight by any reasonable standard for bench. I remember the first time I overhead pressed just the bar, it was uncomfortably heavy. And I've taken some friends to the gym because they've wanted to get started lifting/gaining/getting leaner. It would be fun to do a blog but there are so many fitness guys out there, who actually know a lot. To me though, being able to give very very simple programs that show you your progress every workout and are technique-simple are the way to communicate fitness to people who don't get it and otherwise don't care. May I will start one, just cause writing about fitness ideas is fun for me. Thanks for the advice. And good luck continuing to build your bench press if that's your goal! Right now, I'm working on two goals: 1) max pullups of 31 by my 31st birthday in 5 months (only 16 right now after some time off pullups - I know it's a big challenge... but I think it's possible) and 2) The same thing for dips. I'm also working with single arm overhead dumbbell presses, which is just super fun and challenging. These are the things I can do at home right now without a barbell!

how did you make this video? Did you write some code to do it for you and just loop over every 10 seconds or did you manually have to change each slide?
In video games, a map is often placed in the corner of the screen to aid players in navigation, this is referred to as a "mini map," because it does not occupy the entire screen.
Such a simple video, such a useful tool. One of the best workouts I’ve ever had doing HIIT. Saving this for many years to come
