First time I’ve watched your video I was thinking you was Italian watch lover that speaks an excellent English, than I find out your story ... but something in my mind still connecting you to my country very powerful... so you still Italian guy for me 🇮🇹 ⏱
The way your videos represent the atmosphere of their respective locations is something no other watch channel has matched in my opinion. The ambient audio layer builds such atmosphere! Even when you're just sat chatting over a spritz, it feels like we're sat talking watches. Fantastic work, my friend!
you mentioned Vincenza. spent four years there and enjoyed every minute that I was actually there. was deployed or in training most of the time. could’ve spent the entire time touring just Italy in my free time and still not see everything that wonderful country has to offer. seeing all the places you visit brings back cherished memories. glad at least one of us made it back to northern Italy to enjoy. thank you as always for sharing
Welcome back, just love your latest edition, not just the reviews on the new Watches, but the Scene shots of Venice. This is what makes your channel stand out from the rest, please don’t keep us waiting so long for the next one !
Oishin. sorry if I butcher your spelling. But so often whenever I watch one of your videos I forget that it's a channel about watches and just get lost in everything else. The music the cinematography. It's so funny, I was searching for watches and came across the new 50th Omega snoopy, then I decided to look at the new submariner... Oh look a new TTWC video, lets watch! and then I forgot it was a channel about watches until you mentioned the Sub again at 3:30. Great channel mate, keep it up.
The side by side comparison of the Subs was informative and I felt identical to you regarding how the dial appeared. The outdoor scenes and accompanying music was your standard excellent technique yet once again on display. This Covid has destroyed so much of the pleasant things in life but you somehow make it just a bit better. My summers usually entail multiple trips from the USA to Venice , Rome and Prague per month but I didn’t get any this year and next year is questionable. I , like many Oisin , are living vicariously through you and for that I thank you!
Really excellent commentary on Panerai. I'm into vintage watches and wear 34mm vintage Omegas etc.. But I also love my PAM 673, 1950 47mm case. Because in 1950 that's how they were. Nothing wrong with a 34mm vintage watch and nothing wrong with a 47mm Panerai.
Your talent makes these videos seem effortless to make. You never disappoint, thank you for investing in us viewers. And agree with your opener, bloody nailed it but I wouldn’t have bleeped it out, along with 13:33, stunningly stole my heart.
Happy to see that you are discovering Panerai, now that the hype around the brand has receded. I own multiple Rolex, and other brands, but I must say that my favourite watch is the PAM346. On a big Panerai, the thin wire lugs improve the look, more balanced on the wrist. Classic and modern design combined. Love winding that manual 8 day resserve. Also you can move the hour hand independently of the minute hand, a bit like on a dual time watch. The cyclops is unique, the dome is below the crystal, so smooth on the surface. As this model is no longer produced, i found a NOS example - they are about. I got mine last year (a 2015) with nearly 50% off the historic retail price.
Watching and enjoying this video while wearing an old Rolex Submariner 5513 that I purchased about 25 years ago. You shoot great videos. Captures a love of the local life and watches.
Watched this again as with Trieste. Love these mate. I’m up for a full feature but I’ll survive with more like these. Again, thank you for all you effort.
I must say Rolex designers are masters of illusion. Fans wanted slimmed down lugs so Rolex pretended to do so by shaving a bit off the INSIDE of the lugs whilst keeping about the same outer lug width. The extra inner lug width was then compensated for by the wider bracelet which brings the whole watch back into proportion beautifully. The optical illusion of slimmer lugs is pure design genius! The result, Rolex enthusiasts feel that they got the slimmed down Submariner they asked for, but in reality they got a clever Submariner that is in constant, slow evolution.
They arent that clever, it took 10 years to rectify an obviously boxy design. Even if ther entire community shouted at once it wouldn't sink in. They didn't need hurry, the customer tried to convince themselves that it was ok because its the brand name they really want it sold anyway. No lets see if the can move onto AR coating, perhaps something on the cashback, perhaps get rid of that eyesore they call a cyclops and create an aesthetic date window at 6. Perhaps by 2050
My local AD got a few of the new 41mm Oyster Perpetual model in a couple of days back - “for demonstration purposes only”, so I dropped in to try one on. Have to agree with Oisin - it is simply gorgeous! Was advised that maybe (only “maybe”, mind you) that I might get lucky in June 2021. Oh well, fingers crossed!
The Panerai suits your aesthetic IMO. I feel like retail in the PAMs is not the best option. Pre owned or even the older ETA models are the way to go IMO. Aesthetically they have not changed.
Welcome back! Thanks for another great video! The watches are an amazing and have tried on the two-tone Bluesy, the changes are indeed favorable. Aside from the wristshots, I’ve enjoyed Venice a few times this very time of year and have to say thank-you for showing the beautiful city that she is!
Its great to see a new video that will be replayed again and again for sure. This is a great way to relive the pleasure of checking out the new sub and some other new pieces. Have also seen the silver and gold, and black dial 41 and despite an increase in size they seem to fit as well as the 39 mm. Love the new sub too. Congrats Italia & Il Mose.
Love the Panerai Militaire. That green dial is unreal! I was thinking about an OP, but my Sub, Explorer and Tudor GMT needs an Italian cousin in the roll. Cheers! Great Vid. Mark
Oisin awesome video. Thanks for posting and glad to see you in better spirits. I was lucky to see your Murph video which was pure art. Sorry about what happened. Sweet watches you had in at San Marco.
Enjoyed the video very much and the spritz! Loved the Panerai bit, nice to see some other brands in the mix! (However much Rolex is the don). Be good to see some others too at some point; JLC and Tudor banging out some ace pieces. Great vid!
Today i am picking a new 41mm submariner date, so so excited i can't wait. My other watches are, Rolex batman, Breitling superocean, Tag heaur carrerer (18 yr old model) Love your site, great info and entertainment, best on you tube. Keep up the great work.
fantastic vid. strangely i was in venice when this was uploaded, and a little disappointed i didnt visit the watch shops as i havent seen a suby in a shop before! I was very keen to buy a submariner to mark my 30th but no dealers have even shown me one let alone let me buy one!
Not familiar with the VISA Platinum. Is is comparable to the Amex? I have the latter but probably pay 90% with Apple pay - so no fidgeting for me. ;) Also I am neither a woman nor elegant. lol
Nice to have you back in your zone again - and really informative. Panerai so not my thing, yet I confess to admiring them - they're utterly distinctive and the bonkers (imo) size actually works.
Great vid, really enjoy watching it. Always fantastic ambience in your videos. And the ending with the spritz is priceless. For those who's in the know... Cheers
Another beautiful review and scenery statement. I visited Venice last year before the floods and I am glad they hopefully finally beat the high seas! Venice is a beautiful town and your videos want me to return ASAP if it wasn't for the virus!! I will be back someday!!!
Great video! Ahhhhhh. Venice. Love Venice! The new Rolex 41mm Subs are very nice. No surprise there. Love the Panerai Blue dial and silver dial but not the case size and thickness.
The turquoise, green and red OP are my favorites, nice for the summer instead of al those black and dark bleu watches. Its something different and in my humble opinion a bold statement The panarai looks awesome too
Great VId! Still waiting for my invite from my AD to buy a new 41mm Sub, Maybe the 126610LV or just the 124060. They want a "trade" and I don't want to trade. I love the Pammys I have 196 and, a 188, white and black dials of course. Besides the Daytonas they were my other "grail" watch. But now at 44mm I think they wear a little large, but I still wear them and love them. It did stop me from buying other Pams for now, but their dials are gorgeous and the finish on the cases are really nice. Maybe some of the 42mm ones. Thanks for the great work.
Fantastic video... yet again. Love the Way I come back to Italy... my pam233 is one of the absolute Best watches in my collection .. dead On accurate too
Another great video. I visited the Panerai boutique in Munich some time ago. Great experience but you need the wrist to pull those things off! I guess you can do it. Btw great cafe at the San Marco square. I fondly remember my first visit to Venice in 2011, sitting there at 10 in the morning with my now wife, drinking an Aperol Spritz and booking tickets into the cathedral on my phone, beating the massive que of people who stood there to get tickets.
Your content gets better and better. A relaxed and consummately professional delivery with varied and topical content. The Panerai segment was particularly refreshing. All about size and shape of wrist to carry off these specialities. I can see why you are so attracted. All of them wore extremely well. Looks like you will have more than a Rolex itch to scratch😂. Live your life Oisin. We all envy you but no one would begrudge you. Slainte 🥂
I sat through the Rolex segment to get to the Panerai segment. While I owned a Yachtmaster I and still have an Oyster Perpetual Date, I like my 44 mm Luminor Marina 00632 much better. I am much more likely to go for another PAM than another Rolex for a variety of reasons.
Being Italian and living in Ireland for a long time now, I can see you are really getting into the Italian mood and style ;-) by the way, great reviews about the Rolex watches - well done 👍
Superb video as always. Loving the Panerai content. I've still got the PAM113 I purchased 15 years ago and will never part with it. About time you added a white dial watch to the collection...😉
Your editing, narration and location are all excellent! I come here for the watches but the environments are incredible! It Trumps AC3’s lair with the carpet beetles. I still love Archie’s watch content too though!
Nice to see you back and in good spirits! Wonderful vid as always! So, Panerai is greeting its hooks onto you, Ha! Back in the days, we used to tell onlookers that its the Italian Rolex... I’m down to just two of them now, PAM00470 & PAM00670, after owning about a dozen of different models over the years.
Not for the first time (maybe inadvertently..?) you present the Oyster Perpetual for what it is: the real Rolex watch; for real people who get the whole Rolex ethos ;-) Elegant work once again, cheers man.
Another great video sir. Your right about the Panerai with bracelet and blue dial. It dances in the light. I know because I have this watch. On the flip side of the coin Rolex are not desirable to me, but, my wife is going gaga over the new yellow dial and has it in her head we can wear matching. If I get a new watch out of it, I’m in.
Love this Video! The combination of history, sight seeing, current local ongoings, elegant drinks and watches are so so so cool. Would love to see more like that in the next clips 👌👍😎
Another great video, from the St Matthews Passion, through the gorgeous location, to the wonderful Rolexes. I can’t afford a nice blue faced perpetual, let alone the new Sub date, but they look wonderful, as usual. However, for our anniversary, my wife has treated me to a lovely bottle of Laphroaig and a Seiko Diver, the wonderful SPB053; it might not be quite up there with the Submariner, but with a beautiful dial, similar to the blue perpetual that you showed and a quality Zaratsu polished case, it’s my first coloured timepiece, I’m overjoyed at this relative bargain. Your channel is truly timeless, keep up the great work.
I got my hands on an exhibition “Cermit” in a Rolex AD in Rome for a wrist try. Nice!! Loved the Panerai visit, interesting, and see the Radiomir suiting you well!
I was lucky enough to try on all the new sports Rolex models that interested me during a preview event at the local AD about two weeks ago. The weirdest intro IMO is the new precious metal Sky Dweller on the Oysterflex (rubber) bracelet . Talk about top-heavy!!! Not very comfortable to me, not because of the 42 mm solid gold case (which is heavy) but because the bracelet is so light. Beautiful watch though- I would prefer it on a bracelet. I hope I get a shot at 3 or 4 pieces that I tried on...
😎 Forgot to mention: I have a 7.6 inch wrist. 😎
The Timeless Watch Channel just make my subby désire even worse. Mine’s 7.5. Sigh. Time to sell my kidney and get on a 3 year waiting list.
I was about to say 'Mate you have a beasts wrist' Because jealous. Great vid!
I said to ya at the start of the your channel.. That you would look great in a Panerai...It would look great playing the bass with it on the wrist...
The Timeless Watch Channel
Solid.
Finally a RUclips for the larger man...l’ll use you as a reference now!
4th watch of this video already !!! Terrific 👍🏻
First time I’ve watched your video I was thinking you was Italian watch lover that speaks an excellent English, than I find out your story ... but something in my mind still connecting you to my country very powerful... so you still Italian guy for me 🇮🇹 ⏱

Also, every time I hear that section of the St. Matthew Passion it gets me. That suspension at the end is just to die for. ❤️❤️❤️
That Luminor with the sunburst blue dial was absolutely gorgeous! Panerai's new collection has some amazing pieces.
"Specchio blue"....dial
Welcome back, just love your latest edition, not just the reviews on the new Watches, but the Scene shots of Venice.
This is what makes your channel stand out from the rest, please don’t keep us waiting so long for the next one !
I’ve never fancied a Panerai but looking at them on your wrist has really changed my mind! That blue dial 🔥🔥🔥
17:00 onwards just about sums up Panerai appeal great vid 😁
Oishin. sorry if I butcher your spelling. But so often whenever I watch one of your videos I forget that it's a channel about watches and just get lost in everything else. I got the 2020 sub today from my AD. They knocked it out of the park with the wider bracelet and trimmed lugs. Such an incredible watch
The blue and silver dials on those Panerais too, wow! Beautiful.
The man, the watch, the best channel on the Tubes.🙏🏼
Legend has it that shortly after filming, the Spritz Cyna kicked in and several watches were purchased
The side by side comparison of the Subs was informative and I felt identical to you regarding how the dial appeared. The outdoor scenes and accompanying music was your standard excellent technique yet once again on display. the green dial panerai is a thing of a beauty...

That Panerai blue dial is amazing... thank you for showing some Panerais
Watching and enjoying this video while wearing an old Rolex Submariner 5513 that I purchased about 25 years ago. You shoot great videos. Captures a love of the local life and watches.

A delicious cocktail of ambience, visuals, sound and great watches. Amazing work as always- a true treat for the senses. Can’t ask for more than that.
I gave up watching a watch gang ad and I have two words for this channel: Thank You ☺️
Your opening monologue 🤣🤣🤣 another great video! 👌🏼
Anyone know the song?
Agree the Blue Panerai is very impressive...yes that blue is to die for...Thanks for the share!
One of your best video. Thank you for sharing. Venice is one of my favorite Cities in the world. I miss it!
thank you so much for takin me on this small holliday :)
i agree totally .
own the 126610 ln and the pam 00514
cheers

There is no optical illusion. The lugs are indeed slimmer and were shaved off from both the inside and outside.

I got a brand new 41 mm submariner black bezel from local Rolex AD 👍just this week
Well at least this video didn’t get taken down by u tube, another great video Oisin.
I love your laydback style and passion for watches.
Good luck to you in the future.
Cheers!
13:33 what a beautiful shot .. classy
Valera_Scotland agree 1000%. She might be due royalties because of us ;)
3:18 too
Italy my favorite country in Europe! I like short video about daily life Venezia 👍 Rolex new submarine is beautiful but again long waiting list 😔
The Panerai suits your aesthetic IMO. I feel like retail in the PAMs is not the best option. Pre owned or even the older ETA models are the way to go IMO. Aesthetically they have not changed.
After reading your comment I browsed Chrono24 and I probably agree. You pay significantly less for a watch that has the same style (and size).
Home run for Panerai in this vid 👍
Que vídeo incrível! Aplaudi por R$ 10,00 👏👏👏
Welcome back! Thanks for another great video! The watches are an amazing and have tried on the two-tone Bluesy, the changes are indeed favorable. Aside from the wristshots, I’ve enjoyed Venice a few times this very time of year and have to say thank-you for showing the beautiful city that she is!
wow - made me feel like i was there... very genuine & great photography
You have the best watch channel on the the tubes.
thanks for sharing your opinions. The way you describe difference with the 41mm "more open dial" is spot on imho
Oisin, another visually beautiful episode...beautiful watches too. Keep up the great work.
Excellent opener! The struggle is real!
Its great to see a new video that will be replayed again and again for sure. This is a great way to relive the pleasure of checking out the new sub and some other new pieces. Love the Panerai Militaire. That green dial is unreal! I was thinking about an OP, but my Sub, Explorer and Tudor GMT needs an Italian cousin in the roll. Cheers! Great Vid. Mark
Great video, very classy, beautiful watches in the backdrop of a beautiful city.
The Silver dial Panerai is beautiful! Can't go wrong with a Rolex Sub or a Panerai.
Great video, I’ve just collected a new stainless steel Datejust 41 with fluted bezel and dark blue dial as my first Rolex and I absolutely love it 😍
That was also my first Rolex too. Congratulations on the purchase. Stunning piece. What bracelet did you go for?
You are hooked now! It won’t be your last! Can’t you just see that Sea Dweller on your wrist!!?? You need one!!!
Joshua Ashton I loved the jubilee but I went for the oyster in the end as I think it makes the watch less formal and a bit more versatile
David B I’m lusting after a Pepsi GMT already !! My wallet is squirming lol 😂
Wilmer Green nice! I went for the jubilee but I don’t think you can go wrong with either really. Welcome to the family! 😉
I totally agree on the 41mm sub. The dial looks wider and open. Bracelet is 21mm.
Oisin awesome video. Thanks for posting and glad to see you in better spirits. I was lucky to see your Murph video which was pure art. Sorry about what happened. Sweet watches you had in at San Marco.
Love your content. So retro and luxury at the same time.
Such a gem of a channel. Thanks for your work and sharing your content
My other watches are,
Rolex batman,
Breitling superocean,
Tag heaur carrerer (18 yr old model)
Love your site, great info and entertainment, best on you tube.
That elegant woman sitting alone fidgeting with her credit card, that was a fantastic image.
13:31
You don't see that in the U.S.
Agreed she was elegant and sexy !!!
Not familiar with the VISA Platinum. Is is comparable to the Amex? I have the latter but probably pay 90% with Apple pay - so no fidgeting for me. ;) Also I am neither a woman nor elegant. lol
I have a feeling there may be more to that elegant woman than meets the eye so saying nothing lol
Those Italians really know how to hold themselves in public. Very chic lady.
Nice way to end a Monday after work.
great video and glad you could leave your Wellingtons at home. Hope it stays that way every year!
Great news about the Mose! 🙌🏽
Its something different and in my humble opinion a bold statement

Fantastic video... yet again. Love the Way I come back to Italy... my pam233 is one of the absolute Best watches in my collection .. dead On accurate too
Great Video. Awesome view. Thanks for sharing your experience. My EDC is the Seamaster 300 Diver Panda. I love it
Awesome vid! Happy to see you back! 🍻
Another great video.
I visited the Panerai boutique in Munich some time ago. Great experience but you need the wrist to pull those things off! I guess you can do it.

Oh thank the Lord you're back! Hope I didn't miss the infamous part 2 yet, can't wait to see it wherever it lands. Great great great work!
I was in Venezia last year. A small water at this place was above 5 euros. It´s craaazy.
Being Italian and living in Ireland for a long time now, I can see you are really getting into the Italian mood and style ;-) by the way, great reviews about the Rolex watches - well done 👍
That Radiomir fits you perfect!
I had my panerai stolen and haven’t replaced it yet but you kinda reignited my desire for the brand 👍
The green dial limited edition Radiomir is gorgeous!
Complete the look with some Persol and goes well with the Italian Cynar and theme 😎
Awesome video. Loved the location and focus on the TT sub. Have my eye on the new gold and back TT.
Now, I'd like a Cynar Sprizz - and it's just 8 am. Thanks for another great video!
Just realized the auto correct ‘getting its hooks into you’
Another great video. And thanks for showing some Panerai's. Much appreciated :-)
Great video ! watches ,Italy, and holiday feeling , great angle on watch videos best channel by far ...
Great content and reviews, very easy to watch and listen to. Well done!

Another beautiful plaza, Piazza Navona.
Wonderful video again. I’m glad to see that side of the world appear with some normalcy. Beautiful Panerai pieces..
How did it wear in comparison to the older ceramic models? What did you think?
Got to try on the 216610 the other day as well. I liked it and enjoyed the lug change. Great video as usual!
Those Panerai watches look awesome😍 Going to look into purchase one soon. Thanks for showing some Panerai watches 🙏
Thanks! I'm after a 41mm no date now!
Great images of Venice. Those Panerai watches are enticing. Great vid.
Very nice video Oisin! Thanks for sharing.
