Also keep in mind, this 16 year old made it to the finals of the Chopin Competition with “YES” from every single jury member... he deserves it wholly
Best Ballade no. 4 I've heard!
the ending is hilarious. i love how immediately after the piece finishes, a bunch of people who were holding in coughs started coughing
Yea me too! What a respectful people
One of the very best I've ever heard, much better than a lot of big names. And he's only 16 then. Amazing.
Maybe the best 4th ballade of the entire competition
+Dean Liao
It IS the best
I loved Annie Zhou and Kate Liu's renditions, but I have to say this one is my favorite.
Eric Lu?
agreed
지나온 삶의 아련한 추억이 느껴진다고 해야하나..볼때마다 너무 감동적인 연주
AWESOME PERFORMANCE OF THE CHOPIN F MINOR.
it sounds like magic
Bravo Tony & Yamaha!Lovely music!
Bravo!! Such stage presence and sound projection! A real joy!
from 9:00 it's with great emotion.Amazing!
Jak dobrze tego posłuchać:)
Wonderful!
가장 다채로운 소리가 나는듯. 야마하 피아노를 사용한 사람중에선..!! 너무 소리가 깊고 다양해
Você é maravilhoso!!!!!!!
Bravo! I like your interpretation and expression so much.
awesome !
THE BEST!
Beautiful beyond words , woooooow
Reconforta el espíritu.....
bravo!
It almost sounds like Krystian Zimmerman’s version. Maybe he took inspiration from Zimmerman’s rendition?
does not really matter as long as he play good
why everyone tried their best to COMPARE every pianist to some pianist?? He played good, just accept that. Share us what you are smoking
Wowowowow
Third best Ballade #4 I've ever heard. And in some places, it was probably a bit more creative. Second best was Soyeon Lee at Esther Honens a few years back. And Best is by Phil Best; though he took his version off RUclips and he plays it on a digital. Best interprets it most like I think Chopin would've on his best day.
6:29 Wrong note? or is he referring to a different type of score?
No, I think he's just bringing out the harmonies that other pianists don't.
I think it's a wrong note because the original note is E but if you listen carefully he played F

lol
no, i'm pretty sure he follows the national edition. i read the commentary for that specific bar and it matches to what he played. serwer1374796.home.pl/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ballades_commentaries.pdf bar 124
different score
10:35 Vibrato on piano 😂
