The car has a new owner and I’m currently building my own c7 and done many in my past Im very sick with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and still able to fight my disease while playing w cars
If I ever get rich, you guys are first place I’m going to spend my money. Outstanding work and craftsmanship. Also I tip my hat to the videography and audio work of this video. Great job to the production team.
Man I enjoy your videos every day an im big fan of you guys do to these late model corvettes an vipers an camaro zl1 ss an 1le you guys are the best of the best bar none an vengeance racing is number 1 to me keep doing what you doing guys I enjoy your videos keep it up
Vengeance did my '15 C7 Z51 A8 last week. Installed a base ECS kit. Went from baseline stock 407 rwhp 425 rwtq to 546 rwhp 534 rwtq! That's on just 8 Psi and no other mods. American Racing Headers next!
The only thing smarter than taking your car to Vengeance Racing was NOT letting any shop in Connecticut touch your car. I took my C6 to a shop in Wallingford they could not get my procharged LS3 to rev past 5500 RPM and they were okay with that. Using their engine builder, and their tune engine lasted 300 miles at 650rwhp. Expensive mistake. I'm happy for you and glad you picked vengeance great choice.
did they say why? maybe something in your car wasnt working right or limiting them from getting past? or they just said they dont know and tuned it and handed you keys
Actually the owner Eddie said he only saw this happen one time before (engine nosing over at 5500) but the car made so much power that the owner was happy with it and accepted it. So he never figured out what the problem was because the owner of that car was happy with the power level. Can't make this stuff up.
Very smart choice going to Vengeance. They gave my vette a new life and I'm over the top with their work. Great exhaust sound man! You'll be happier as time goes by with all that HP waiting on you. 👍
Definitely if/when at this point IMO. The LS3/LT1 are safe for max 750 RWHP, pistons may add a bit more but the weak link is the crank. I don't know why Vengeance didn't put a Callies crank in it. Hell, even the LT4 would be starting to feel stressed at 900 RWHP, though it can handle it, failure is imminent over 1000 RWHP.
They didn't downgrade them. And the only LS engine that was going to handle 1000 on the stock crank easily is the LS9 and perhaps an LSA (But LSA's have cheaper rods and pistons, possibly a weaker crank too). An LS2 and LS3 top out at about 750 RWHP on stock bottom end. If you want it to last forever, stay with 650-700. Over 750 RWHP and drive it a lot and you'll start to break things. An LS1 can handle even less on stock crank/bottom end. LS7's are strong but they're NOT very good for boost with their razor thin cylinder walls, but they'll handle a bit more than an LS3 when properly setup. If you put a forged crank/rods/pistons in an LS2 or LS3, then they'll handle 1100 RWHP or more. An LS9/LSA even more. The LT's are basically identical. Don't push an LT1 over 750 RWHP, in fact, I'd stick with 650-700 RWHP if you wanted it to last. An LT4 is stronger than an LSA but weaker than an LS9. It can handle 1000-1100 RWHP but you'd be pushing it, likely seeing failure if raced often. Stick with 900-1050 RWHP and don't beat the shit out of it. Anybody wanting to run over 1000-1100 RWHP for an extended period of time, you'll want to put a forged crank/rods/pistons in and that goes for ALL LS/LT engines. If it's not a factory supercharged engine, then you'll want to stick with 750 RWHP or less. -Been building, modding, and racing LS's and LT's for years.
Again this is not to say that an LT1 can't handle 850 RWHP because it can. But I would NOT expect it to last under rough usage, excessive racing, and many thousands of miles. Now if you are babying it, choosing your races, spirited driving, and putting maybe 1000-3000 on it a year, then you'll be fine for a long time. It's all in the tune. I know people making 800-850 RWHP on stock bottom end LT1s and they're tuned properly, so they've not had a problem yet. But if the tune is bad, you'll send a rod through that block REALLY quick.

Not only does that car look beautiful its powerful. Definitely a rare sight in the automobile world.

Vengeance is the best period.
Gorgeous build!
I have a gs and I'm ready. I'm actually glad I have a gs rather than a z06. I think a blown, cammed gs is a better, more unique car.
I agree, that's exactly why I have decided to keep my GS and let Vengeance mod it vs trading it in for a Z
I literally saw this car yesterday in Hamilton mill
How much for that upgrade.. my gs goals..
Dam nice job. Great numbers too.
Pushing the hell out of that bottom end, whew.
Captain no joke. I'm curious as how much more it can handle r should I say if/when? lol

Captain Why would they down grade the crank set up on the LT’s? The LS engines could take 1,000 on the stock crank set up.

Open a shop in Canada. Toronto or Calgary. You would get everyone car here, no reputable builders or tuners here.
What a car!!!
Are those numbers on pump gas
This setup on a auto or manual???
What is the cost of this setup
And what shop did it and where
Joshua Sullinger 25k, Georgia
Isn’t this for sale?! I need this
What’s the 1/4 mile times please
Curious as to why not get a z06 or ZR1.
Prochargged is better and you spend less when getting a gs and building it yourself. Plus less for your insurance
How much for the whole package install and tuned?
If you gotta ask....
@@zaknefain100 if u have to reply you can't afford it either
