As A Mexican-American your Spanish is really good. A lot of ppl here in the U.S that don't speak Spanish, try to speak it and it comes out rough. Yours on the other hand sounds like well.... Spanish :D I mean I understood you, that's all that matters basically.
I have been learning Spanish via this app and in school for more than 2 years now and I can really see that you are already very good at it! Your pronunciation is very good and you are a quick learner. Buena suerte aprender el Español!
As a person who is learning Spanish (my mexican family, personal study, and school) and Norwegian (just starting) it's so much fun to watch someone else learn, and I know you can do it! You pronounced the words very well and in all honesty, you're doing a lot better than some americans here ;)
I’m the same with you on Duolingo! You don’t need any prior knowledge to start, but you might wanna do a bit of research for the language you’re learning, along with using tips. This combination is how I’m learning Deutsch (German).
wow i'm learning Norwegian with duolingo, it's a very intersting language! i'm italian, i subscribed to your channel searching for content in Norwegian and then stayed for your smile :D
Hi Sunny! I am fros Costa Rica so Spanish is my mother language. Actually your accent is very good and all the words you said were clear and I understood everything. Spanish can be complicated but don't give up. Teach us some norwegian too, it will be fun to watch.
hiii Sunny!!!!! I use duolingo to learn Norwegian Bokmål and it's really helpful. :D Great video! You're good at it, I just cant do Spanish xD Virtual hug from the UK :D
Yo estoy aprendiendo noruego desde hace un par de años y, si bien la pronunciación en español obviamente no es igual a la noruega, se parecen porque ambos idiomas se hablan como se escriben, por así decirlo. No es como el inglés, por ejemplo. Sunny me sorprendió mucho con su acento. Habla muy bien jaja
It’s so great to see someone speaking my native language! Also you’re accent was pretty good Just a note: at least where I’m from perdón is used as sorry more frequently than lo siento :)
Very good. Duolingo is a great app. I've been using it a lot. I think the biggest issue it has, is that the user does a lot of guessing, and usually one feels like a lot of learning is happening, but actually we're just picking an answer based on context and luck. So what happens to me is even after finishing whole language trees, I can kind of understand the language but can't really create new sentences on my own unless I practice a lot on my own. I suggest writing and speaking your own sentences if you're doing duolingo. A notebook and a pen go a looong way!
This thoughts Sunny (from a native spanish speak): 1. It's always cool to hear a slight foreign accent in spanish, don't worry for that, you will improve. 2. The conjugations on the verbs will be a headache, get prepared for that. 3. You should configure the keyboard for spanish, and keep pressed the letters for accents like "niño" and "inglés" 4. I was waiting spanish for so long in your videos, next time could be more speaking. Keep it up, hej du
Just learn Spanish already. Did that a year ago. One random day I suddenly understood that school is not going to teach me what I wanted, which was learning to speak Spanish. So I made a decision to study Spanish, and that's how I learned Spanish. Anyways have a meaningful life😊
Hi Sunny! I am a spanish linguistics graduate, or I have a bachelor's degree in that, I don't know how to say it lol. I would simply like to give you my congratulations. Perhaps when you say you have forgotten spanish, you may refer to vocabulary and grammar but I can tell you that your pronuntiation is quite good. On the phonetic spectrum, it is usually hard for non-native spanish speakers to pronounce the sound of "ñ" as in "niño" and "niña", which you said perfectly. Hope you learn some more. 🤘🤘
Nice video of you speaking Spanish, Sunny. I also had Spanish at the college prior to the conclusion, though I use it a little bit but the basics is always important to remember. Curiously, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese were originated from Latin, which some words can be understandable while others have different meanings. Here's a tip for writing words with accents with the cellphone keyboard: holding at the letter you want to write (like the Ñ by holding the letter N) and it will show you the options for letters with accents. A part of it, your Spanish is good. I hope to see a video of you speaking Portuguese.
🤣you forgot to beep "fuck" at 11:43 😜 Nice video, I use Duolingo for learning Norwegian since over two years now. The good thing is, that I also learned a lot of English words that I didn't learn in school. 🙂💪 Thanks for the video and please stay healthy! 😘
Hey sunny how did you get over your dogs death? I just lost my best friend and every time I think about it I can help but cry, it's been really rough on me, it barely happened 2 days ago..
For is the first time try to speak Spanish and not to be your native language you were very good I like your voice is nice speaking my language Para ser tu primera vez intentando hablar Español, y no ser tu idioma nativo. Estuviste muy bien, me gusta tu voz hablando mi idioma.
Settings->General->Keyboard->Keyboards->Add New Keyboard->Spanish(Latin America) ...this will add an icon to flip through languages in your keyboard and youll get the ñ
Hi!!! I'm spanish and your accent is very good. To write "ñ" try hold down the n key and then you will see the different options you have. If you don't see the letter "ñ" then you have to configure your keyboard. By the way, I sent you a DM in instagram. Best regards!!!
Of course same for e - gives ê ... also for $ can make a &¥£¥₽ etc. BTW ur IOS may need to be upgraded. At first my keyboard showed the choices but wouldn’t allow to select. Now it works.
WOW - something post C19 that’s totally normal! LET’S ALL GIVE SUNNY A VIRTUAL AND LONG TWENTY SECOND HUG (that’s happy birthday twice). Mucho gracias.
To get the tilde /~/, just hold the letter *_n_* for the ñ to pop up. It works on Android. I don't know about iOS, which is your case, but I think is pretty much the same thing. That goes on for vowels and other symbols too. E.g., hold the letter *_o_* button to get ó, ò, ô, ö etc.; for the ¡ ¿, hold the *_!_* or *_?_* and you will be fine! :^)
If you want to switch the N to Ñ, you can hold the letter N and you can choose what accent you want. By the way I am from the Netherlands and I am also learning Spanish and Swedish :)
Te felicito hablas bien Español, o para ser tu primera vez hablando este idioma estuviste muy bien. Te lo digo yo qué soy Mexicano y por ende mi idioma natal es el Español.
Nice vid but you said it wrong Sunny! Actually in most dialects of Spanish, 'Y' is pronounced /ʝ/ no /ɟʝ/ (according to IPA). /ɟʝ/ is only used in Colombian dialects. So 'yo' is /ʝo/. /ʝ/ sounds similar to Norwegian /j/, so yo could be spelled in Norwegian as jå.
You actually have very good pronunciation! I don't think there is such a thing as a "wrong accent" in Spanish, as it is spoken in many countries, with different accents. I am from Latin America, and I actually find Spanish from Spain a little hard to follow at times!
first time i used duolingo i tried to learn italian (because of assassins creed). it was fun. but i don't know why i quit. do you still practice? i hope you didn't give up like i did.
We Spanish native speakers found very, extremely difficult learn Nordic Languages. You are doing it just fine. Norwegian and Spanish are very different languages, almost no similarities. Lo estás haciendo bien. Son idiomas muy diferentes.
Were you about to say *_puta merda_* (it means "holy sh*" in Brazil) at 3:14? Hahahahahaha! My mother tongue is Portuguese, but I know Spanish too. I have to say that du gjorde det ganske bra! :)
Hola Sunny. Yo soy de los Estados Unitos. Yo tengo dos años de español en escuela secundaria. Yo conozco esa aplicación. Yo también usó el traductor de Google. Tiene que configurar los ajustes del teclado para obtener la “ñ” en su 📱. Lo siento yo soy hablando mucho español aquí.
Mil gracias por tu video de Espanol. Tusen takk for videoen din på spansk. Thank you very much for your video on Spanish. I do speak (Mexican) Spanish, and "Yo" is pronounced "Yo" not "Jo". Maybe the Spain style Spanish, Castilian, turns the Y into a hard J. I now that Catalan, the language of Barcelona, uses a soft "J" like the French do. In French, "J" sounds like "zh" would in English. Have a fabulous day. - DrDave.
Can you make another 'Speaking Dutch' video? I was in Norway last summer and we were talking with a woman. I said something to my dad in Dutch (I'm from Belgium) and the Norwegian woman understood it. She said the languages were quite simular haha :)
I’am from Mexico 🇲🇽 and that was pretty good, I’m actually learning norwegian from English because is not for spanish speakers. Good video
Es MUCHO mejor aprenderlo desde inglés

I have been learning Spanish via this app and in school for more than 2 years now and I can really see that you are already very good at it! Your pronunciation is very good and you are a quick learner.

Me sorprende que Naturalmente hablando Noruego tenga tan buen acento en Español, la fonética no debe de ser tan distinta entre ambos idiomas
