JULY 2024 UPDATE: T-Mobile Home Internet is back to $50/month for new standalone customers, not $60. Compare internet plans here: michaelsaves.com/internet-plan-comparison-tool/
We live in a rural area and have had t-mobile home internet for 4 years. I have zero complaints. Flat $50 bucks a month and we can do everything we want to do with the speeds the service offers. We have RUclips tv, my kids play the latest and greatest video games, my wife has a home business, we have movie streaming services. No complaints here.
Same here. We live in a small rural town where for years we were limited to fiber optic cable alternatives that were three times the cost of T-Mobile 5G, and couldn’t begin to match T-Mobile’s performance.
Glad I got in on T-Mo Home Internet years ago. Still have my Nokia Trash Can and it works perfect for me. I am one of those that goes over 1.2TB of Data Per Month. The couple of times I thought I was being throttled I just restarted my router and things improved. Not the right solution for everyone, but certainly is good enough for me.
verizon is good also.. In t-mobile the regular price of their home Internet is 55 dollars every month.. Some of my customers they have promotions and discount and sometimes the device connection charge is free❤ 😊
Whaat? Where do you live. I live in Western PA, & I've had Verizon Internet + landline for years (NO TV whatsoever), and about a year & half ago, I had to hassle to get Verizon to lower it from $176 / mo. to about $126 ! Plus the cheating company NEVER sent me the promised $200 prepaid credit card. I can't wait to dump Verizon.
I had it about a year ago. My tower is behind two large schools on a very busy road. Congestion became unbearable. Went back to Spectrum for just a little more a month and way more consistant.
I have T mobile home internet. But I wouldn't be one of those customers that traveling with their home internet and paying$160.00. I Use my hotspot from visible whenever I'm traveling. Tmobile is going back on Their guaranteed price. At this point, customers are going to choose the plan that best for them. Thank you for sharing.
I live in the Phoenix area. I just switched to T-Mobile and I consistently get 600-700 mbps at the current price of $55/month. Cox had raised my rates to $106 for 500 mbps. Loving it so far!
Thanks for the update. I have t-mobile phone and internet bundle and am still very pleased with both. I get a spinning wheel on the tv every now and then but its not a big deal maybe a coupe times a month.
An extender in the room would help with you'r internet. Prevent that spinning wheel. The device is having a hard time streaming. If it's the tv its self try a streamer. The Streaming components for a tv are after thoughts. had one tv go out on wifi and wired connection. don't put much stock into them.
@@Geeky_Dad don't go with extender if possible, as it creates separate network you need to manage. I've found it better to just invest in a good WiFi mesh setup that also has an app for your phone where you can control it without having to log on via a web portal if you don't want too.
So this past week there are reports of tmo using the gps in gateways and notifications going to customers if they are using the service in unapproved areas. Worth mentioning, also what about the FCC rolling back net neutrality?….
T-Mobile's selling point for me is a FREE subscription to the MLB package which I would subscribe to with or without T-Mobile. Comcast's Now Internet which you have already covered is definitely bringing competition to fixed wireless internet. If not for the MLB package, I might give that a shot. For now I'm sticking with T-Mobile which I have had for over 18 months.
After crunching the numbers and looking at my cell phone usage, I dropped T-Mobile for Mint 5 GB and bought the MLB subscription separately. The savings more than pays for the subscription.
I have 2 lines and home internet from T Mobile. I pay $120 a month and get 'free' Netflix and apple tv. I don't think I can get a better deal elsewhere.
Hi Sir. I have Xfinity internet and pay $60. a month for unlimited data (Pueblo, Colorado). We did pay $75. but I called for something and the man changed my plan and saved me money. He said the speed is faster and it is cheaper. I don't notice a difference in speed but I am saving $15. a month. My son plays video games and streams TV. I stream TV (24/7) and use my computer. I will have the TV, computer and tablet going at the same time and it all works. Have a nice day everyone.
I want to get it but for some reason, the signal where I live sucks. The best download speed I can get is 18 mbps. I hope they will do something about their signal here. :(
On the south shore of western Suffolk county in NY the service is absolute junk in my experience. They say that they de-prioritize under heavy load but in reality, with speeds dropping to under 2mb/s it is unusable as home internet. When you call to complain they will tell you that there is a problem with the towers. The trouble is they never send crews out to repair the towers.
Unrelated.. They just announced next Gen TV in Southern Arizona. I went to the site and saw the video. I am still clueless as to what this is or why I'd want it. Is tablo compatible with next gen tv? Could you please do a video on this? Confused am I.
I cancel mine since their speeds dropped from 170-200mb - 7-25mb. They would go up again on spped after 1or 2 am. Not worth it. i went back to spectrum for $29.99 @ 500mb
Michael, RUclips is offering a discount of the NFL Sunday ticket for the next season. Can you please look into it and do a video talking about it? It is available through May 16.

I'm very pleased so far. It's worth taking the 15 day trial IMHO.
We have had it since 2020 in a rural area between Knoxville and Chattanooga TN. Being that this was our only option other than DSL at the time, it has worked wonderfully. No complaints. We now have other options: Att and Verizon home internet, but I see no need to change. It's $50 bucks flat.
I live in rural PA. I had DLS from the phone company which provided horribly slow speeds. If the microwave oven was running I would loose internet. I do not have the option of cable or fiber because no one runs lines in my area. I looked into Verizon wireless home internet because that's who my cell phone is with, but home internet was not available at my home address, so that wasn't an option. My only option is T-Mobile or now StarLink. T-Mobile is still the most affordable option for me. The speeds I am getting with T-Mobile is higher than the advertised speeds for StarLink so unless my speeds significantly tank, I will be staying with T-Mobile. For my internet needs it is all I need.
We tried it. Couldn’t get over 70gb download speeds no matter where we placed the router so we returned it. We were really hoping the $40 plan was going to work for us to save a little. Would never pay $60 for it. We get gigabit with AT&T for $75.
I have T-Mobile Mesh and it sucks. I upgraded to the Mesh because I was having issues. Slow speeds. Same with the Mesh and I live near towers and still slow. They just said:Thanks so much for the information! Taking a look here I am seeing that congestion may be the cause of the issues you are experiencing, especially if you experience it at the same time every day- when there are a lot of people in the same area trying to use T-Mobile service, it can cause speeds to slow down for everyone.
What about that $30 offer they just told me about? Normal family of 2, 2 TV, 1 laptop, no uploads, no fancy programs on the laptop, alexa. Some say it’s great and some no.
Ok does anyone know how to disable the GPS tracker on the T-Mobile 5g home internet device? Are they really going to halt thousands of monthly service income? There are other options way cheaper than $160 a month.. something stinks here

I got T Mobile 5G Internet for the express purpose for using while RVing. I will keep using it until they cut me off. If that happens, they are getting there box back. Do you have a suggestion on the best Internet options for those that travel frequently?
Well I actually think what you’re doing is the best option until they crack down on THI usage outside of fixed home addresses. I know some people who have Visible (especially the premium plan) just rely on the unlimited mobile hotspot, but it’s capped at 10Mbps with the premium plan. I’ll keep looking around.

Yes, I recommend that for the 15-day test drive. Why they want their money for prepaid credit card and they want your credit card so if you're behind or something like that they automatically pulled out so if you're like a low on funds in like and don't have much funds you live paycheck but by paycheck it's no good for me
Did you use home internet the way we advertised you should? Awesome, we are going to block you and charge you an extra fee for doing exactly what we wanted you to do. Pay us more for the same thing we advertised to you last year.
Na - we pay Higher prices, while T Moble hire Celebs (mil $$ contracts)
Sounds like shady business practices to me. I will not be a customer.
Testing for 2 years? LMAO!
Yes I have relied on only 5G services for 2 years. My first time with THI was 2021. It has proven to be reliable for my needs (personal and business).
Look at those pathetic upload speeds.
Hmmm... But everything works fine! Running my life and an entire business on 5G home internet.
Always higher prices country is nuts with inflation not as high as grocery stores. 😊
T mobile just raised my bill again by 30$ buks ripp offs ... started at 120$ to 145$ no to 175 wtf pieces of 💩
I would never use a home internet service from T-Mobile. I have fiber internet.
Yeah, your website did not help me at all. So thanks? I guess?
What do you mean? Here's the internet plan comparison tool: michaelsaves.com/internet-plan-comparison-tool/ Here's my review of T-Mobile Home Internet: michaelsaves.com/reviews/t-mobile-home-internet-review/
It's signal strength or speed is probably no better than the last time it had the other router so I'm not really interested in this Channel and don't send me no notifications about any other internet service please 0:35 0:35 0:35
You can unsubscribe anytime.
It's simple this is on you, and not this channel, because if you don't like a channel on RUclips then you're free to unsubscribe from if you are, and then if a video from that channel still does pop up in your feed you can use the hamburger menu next too it, and tell RUclips not to recommend that video to you. Again no one forced this on you, you did it yourself.
WE NEED LAWYERS TO SUE T-MOBILE WITH THE COMPANY STEALING We are grandfather clause into a A contract when we first started I don’t know if you were was stealing from us I want to do this company for mental anguish on a disabled person
