I was homeless for awhile ...my health deteriorated so rapidly, I lost my condo and job and the savings I had in the bank. Living on the streets teaches you so much. Who your true friends are, who in your family is willing to help, and regarding other homeless people - some will literally give you the shirt off their back, and others will steal everything you have. God has been good to me. I now have a place to call my own and a part time job to support myself. Now all I need is to find new friends !!

You can’t always tell who is homeless or not. There was a time when I was homeless for a few months, but still worked at a part time job. They couldn’t tell I was homeless because I showered at gyms and washed my clothes at friend’s washing machines. Once I casually mentioned to someone that I was at a food bank earlier and they said “you’re not homeless though?” all judgementally. But I was homeless…..

Or super scared of being hungry. I remember when I lost my job for health reasons, my mind went into defence mode and I took all I could get given to me from anywhere and everywhere. I had a stock pile of every food imaginable, bus tickets, cigarettes etc etc. I ended up given lots of things away and even throwing some out. I was amazed at how scared and desperate my mind became and how I acted.
Social experiment shows the highs and lows. Most are respectful and appreciative, but there are always those who take advantage. Bless those in need & the souls who do what's right.

Well sadly hold on to your hats it's only gonna get worse we spent generations of destroying the minds of young people. They are being taught that they are victims and oppressed. If people are raised with no moral compass no God what kind of a world are we going to have. We're looking at the degradation of humanity and full view. People follow the rich elite and the power drunk they have no sense of community. Of thy neighbor as I would love thyself, Thou shall not steal, Thou shall not kill. Crime is going up drug abuse homelessness hopelessness. Are open border of millions of people coming to this country with their hands out bringing nothing but drugs, Crime human trafficking, It is in the Constitution that our government protect us from an invasion yet they do not or to protect even these illegal immigrants from being taken advantage of but they are not. As we have our own issues to deal with that they are fleeing we have the same things. The only thing we do have that they want is our welfare system the free everything that is supposed to be helping Americans. By all means I want people to come to this country that are fleeing oppressto live a life of freedom but freedom comes with a pnice because it's not free. You have to earn that freedom by being a good citizen a law abiding citizen. You cannot run around being a criminal in any country in the world and expect you to have freedom. And just coming across that border even if you mean no harm to this country is an illegal act therefore you are criminal. Even if you have the best intentions. But how many of these millions of people have the best intentions in mind that aren't coming here for the free programs and education, Health care, Food stamps, Free housing, And so on and so forth. Everything that is being paid for for all these free programs and having to build shelters for these people and find them long term Homes is costing the taxpayers money therefore our own government is stealing the money out of the mouths of Americans. So we are seeing the degradation of our society in full view and it is being bought and paid for by the American taxpayers. Our government officials are not protecting us protecting our rights in the Constitution. This is going to cost the American people dearly not just money but our educational system are a medical system in the long term. Everything that is put into these programs to help Americans that can't get the help will go to illegal immigration and it will bankrupt this country. There will be more homelessness more addiction more crime. Mark my words and I can say this because I've lived within a stone throw up the Southern border my whole life
I tried helping a homeless person before and got yelled at for offering the homeless lady money. The person who yelled at me was the homeless lady. She said "I didn't ask you for anything, get the hell away from me." After that I just feel I should watch who I should try to help. Animals are the ones who are greatful for what you give to them.

As a teen my friends didn't know when I was homeless (I didn't want to go to foster care and get horrible abused). They would also scold me for trying to get free lunches, or any other help meant for the poor. I don't trust those who act like morale superiors to their freinds. Or super scared of being hungry. I remember when I lost my job for health reasons, my mind went into defence mode and I took all I could get given to me from anywhere and everywhere. I had a stock pile of every food imaginable, bus tickets, cigarettes etc etc. I ended up given lots of things away and even throwing some out. I was amazed at how scared and desperate my mind became and how I acted.
He could have been handing those tickets oht to other homless he knows, why are you judging him without knowing? You are the real lost soul...
Social experiment shows the highs and lows. Most are respectful and appreciative, but there are always those who take advantage. Bless those in need & the souls who do what's right.

Well sadly hold on to your hats it's only gonna get worse we spent generations of destroying the minds of young people. They are being taught that they are victims and oppressed. And they have everything those in the ones that are the worst it's the ones that struggle that become the criminals because they weren't taubut love moral values compassion for others or consequences for their action. I raised my kids 3 of them to Adult hood They are loving compassionate they care about other people But a lot of times they get taken advantage of because as I say you either raise victims or monsters. I wanted them to be strong but fair but they've gotten stepped on a lot they're getting tougher. I had to learn that too not to let people take advantage of my good nature. To judge people by their character not the color of their skin. I as they have had their UPS and Downs in life but we keep fighting forward. It gets really hard as you get older but I will not fall to the evil. I will stand on my principles and the principles that were taught to me by God my personal relationship with him. If people are raised with no moral compass no God what kind of a world are we going to have. We're looking at the degradation of humanity and full view. People follow the rich elite and the power drunk they have no sense of community. Of thy neighbor as I would love thyself, Thou shall not steal, Thou shall not kill. Crime is going up drug abuse homelessness hopelessness. Are open border of millions of people coming to this country with their hands out bringing nothing but drugs, Crime human trafficking, It is in the Constitution that our government protect us from an invasion yet they do not or to protect even these illegal immigrants from being taken advantage of but they are not. As we have our own issues to deal with that they are fleeing we have the same things. The only thing we do have that they want is our welfare system the free everything that is supposed to be helping Americans. By all means I want people to come to this country that are fleeing oppressto live a life of freedom but freedom comes with a pnice because it's not free. You have to earn that freedom by being a good citizen a law abiding citizen. You cannot run around being a criminal in any country in the world and expect you to have freedom. And just coming across that border even if you mean no harm to this country is an illegal act therefore you are criminal. Even if you have the best intentions. But how many of these millions of people have the best intentions in mind that aren't coming here for the free programs and education, Health care, Food stamps, Free housing, And so on and so forth. Everything that is being paid for for all these free programs and having to build shelters for these people and find them long term Homes is costing the taxpayers money therefore our own government is stealing the money out of the mouths of Americans. So we are seeing the degradation of our society in full view and it is being bought and paid for by the American taxpayers. Our government officials are not protecting us protecting our rights in the Constitution. This is going to cost the American people dearly not just money but our educational system are a medical system in the long term. Everything that is put into these programs to help Americans that can't get the help will go to illegal immigration and it will bankrupt this country. There will be more homelessness more addiction more crime. Mark my words and I can say this because I've lived within a stone throw up the Southern border my whole life

I tried helping a homeless person before and got yelled at for offering the homeless lady money. The person who yelled at me was the homeless lady. She said "I didn't ask you for anything, get the hell away from me." After that I just feel I should watch who I should try to help. Animals are the ones who are greatful for what you give to them.
She was way too prideful. She shldve taken it and said thank u. They can be like that. I'm smh to it rt now. Some ppl can make the stupidest decision to not do what they shld. That was her not taking what she shldve and pride ruled her all the way back. It'll hit her that she has to let go of the pride and deal with it one day. U wait, it'll hit. Damnnmn. Well, Gosh.

As a teen my friends didn't know when I was homeless
(I didn't want to go to foster care and get horrible abused).
