Measurements & procedures
Measurements
1. IPA =1 liter
2. Anti-sole "anti-septic powder" quarter cup.
3. Ethanol or methanol = 2 liters
4. Perfume: 30ml
Procedures.
Step one: thoroughly mix 5liters of water with antisol & leave it to sock overnight.
Step two: add IPA and mix very well.
Step three: add ethanol and mix.
Step four: add perfume & mix.
Step five: package and sell or use.

1. Antiseptic powder
2. I P A
3. Quantity of the Ethernol
4. Alcoholic percentage of the above Ethernol.
The only quantity i could get from the video is the quantity of water which is 4lit.

Hi Justine, you can use Nitrosol
N.B you don’t have to leave nitrosol overnight, just sock it for 30minutes to one hour only.

Hi Khadijah, you can use Nitrosol for instant thickener or Anti-sole for overnight thickener
I have a question.
I followed the very first step in making the sanitizer and I dissolved this morning that the antiseptic powder instead of dissolving over night decided to settle at the bottom.
I stirred thoroughly but after few minutes, it settles again.
What should I do???
it could be that the antisol is expired or the quantity of water is not proportional to the ingredients
It should be the antisol. I had to filter it after it settled.

Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) added because it evaporates more rapidly than ethanol and also because it does not leave any traces of oils upon evaporation. Similarly to ethanol, most laboratories have ample quantities of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) around for general purpose use.
