I love all your dresses, the shorter one looks great. We are coming into our Autumn, weather broken now with cycles of rain cooling the air, then sunny and hot into 30-34 deg celsius, then rain and cooling again. Not long and we will be in the 20's every day. Love from NSW Australia.

Its hard to choose a favorite dress but I do love the black and grey one. I love all of them though. I think the word in English you were searching for was " precious" . Some yarns are too "precious" to cut or steek. Have a great day. :)

To answer your question, yes, I have been inspired. You have knit three dresses and I don't know how many wonderful sweaters since I began knitting my own version of an Islander about six month ago, but I can't seem to sit down and finish the second sleeve. I'm using handspun cream and brown Sheltand, and I'm very happy with it, but I have finished three hats, a pair of mittens, and cast on two pairs of socks instead of finishing that sleeve.I will try your breakfast table trick. Thank you!
Your dresses are wonderful: I love all three, with perhaps the handspun being my favourite.... I have been on sick leave from work and picked up a jumper that needed a little on the bottom of the body and two sleeves. I did something odd with the body hem....perhaps I knit it inside out I think , so I will have to redo that, but I have just completed the two sleeves and am thrilled with it. It'll need blocking and the hen re-do, but I may wear it today anyway :)
