All of your projects are wonderful! I love all the handspun yarn and projects that you make from the yarn! 🧶 Keep taking care of yourself. You look good. I have thyroid issues too, so I understand.❤🥰

What a lovely visit, thank you once again for sharing your fibre joy with us and also for sharing so much of your own life. I have spent a lovely hour watching, crocheting on a light weight shawl and drinking tea. Donna

Lovely to see and hear from you and that you are taking care of yourself. Thyroid issues can be tricky. I have hypothyroidism and getting the right balance is not always easy. I applaud your efforts at the gym and with yoga. I bike every day for an hour along a deserted country road beginning at daybreak. Love listening to the birds chirping as they welcome the dawn. For me, the biking works wonders both mentally and physically. The deep diaphragmatic breathing, I believe raises my dopamine level in my brain and the leg motion really helps my arthritic knees. Doing whatever brings you joy is so important. You have always been such an inspiration to me and I know I am not alone in saying I have found a kindred spirit. Loved the linen top, the explanation of why supported spinning helps to rein in the mind and seeing all your lovely projects. BTW you are looking great!

I am sorry to hear that you have been unwell too and needing time off work. I had another cancer diagnosis and needed surgery in January. I needed two months away from work but it takes longer to recover doesn't it? I hope that you are feeling more restored. Also, you have I think helped me to plan some spinning as knitting doesn't fill me with joy right now......

Terrific video, Cia! Lovely projects, and so many, too. I’m in awe of your spinning expertise! I spin a little, but most of my crafting is in knitting. Regarding the issue you had with your sweater sleeve, one tip I heard from another podcaster is that she uses stitch markers to mark each decrease round on the first sleeve (e.g. one marker every 6th, or 10th round, or whatever), and instead of trying to count rounds on the second sleeve, she just counts rounds from the last stitch marker, knits her decrease round, then MOVES the marker from the first sleeve to the second sleeve. When all markers have been moved to the second sleeve, she knows she’s done decreasing! Hope this helps a little…! Take care!

My husband likes to listen to you, he said I can understand what she talks about, we are from Lithuania, and when we speak in english some times we just say word by word as if we would say in our language. 🤭🤗😘

Thank you so much for your lovely knitting episodes. I love all your knits so much and I have learned so much from you. I am very interested in the spinning. I have never done it but I want to give it a try. I have two long haired white cats. Their fur is like a rabbit and so soft and fluffy. I have been saving their combed out fur for a few years. Do you think it is possible to spin their fur with just the drop spindle? Will I need to purchase other spinning tools? I have seen that it costs $30 an ounce to spin pet hair on Etsy. I probably have at least 200 grams I would like to spin. Thank you so much in advance for your advice and assistance. :)
