Today we'll be restoring a rusty old steel table that I need as a computer table in my editing bay. Unfortunately as always, I need something NOW. So the job will have to be rushed with what I already have, which is just a bit of spray paint and some leftover sandpaper. Well, sounds like that's all we need, unless we sandblast the whole thing. Which we're not gonna do. So, we severely improve the appearance of this table, from one with rusty old legs to one with shiny, chrome painted legs. Beautiful!

Why was this a RUSH JOB Marius?

It's one of those unforeseen things that aren't budgeted for in terms of time and money and materials. It's like oh I need a higher table for my editing computer immediately, oh here's a table perfect because it's made of steel (more fireproof than wood or plastic), oh this table is needed immediately but is rusting away and need a paint job urgently but it's already like 5 in the afternoon with no time for that but whatever let's rush it through before the sun is down completely because tomorrow's already scheduled out so whatever we manage to do today is all we're gonna get to any time soon, oh it's gonna need sandblasting but I don't have the equipment but the neighbour does have some leftover scraps of sandpaper, oh look at the time we should have finished this an hour ago already, and so forth and forth. You know what things are like in this creative industry don't you Lord Alrdidge? Like ideas and requirements just pop up and need to be ready to be applied immediately and such and such, so rush jobs and temporary style things that end up permanent are common. I'm happy with this table. I'd rather put my wrists on steel than those plastic coatings that are common now. Plastic is poisonous for humans.

There was no more paint in the stores Marius?

No time or money for stores. This was a rush job. Meaning it needed to be finished an hour ago at the moment of conception.
