I would have never taken you for 35. Girl, you are fabulous. A tip that I would give is to wear a white crisp blouse and a pair fitted jeans with a loafer or heel. It's a simple classic look that will never go out of style! It's my go to if I can't pull it together in time.
Also, throw a mini lint roller in that makeup bag for when your all black outfit has all of your cats/dogs fur on it... I keep one in my purse and my desk drawer for the mornings I'm running late and don't pick out my outfit the night before.
Hi Lauren, I have learned so much from watching your videos! Could you make a video about layering? I am moving to Ireland in a month from California and have no idea how to style warm layers and not look sloppy or how to layer when it's Spring or Summer but it could rain at any time!
If someone really appreciates his own sense of style, he will always dedicate the time to put an outfit together. My tip is to prepare the night before and to be consistent with this routine.
I plan out my outfits and accessories for the upcoming week on the weekends and hang in my closet. The night before, I choose my outfit and hang on the hook outside my bathroom door. So if I hit the snooze button a couple of times, I am still ready to go. Then I don't feel rushed or frazzled when I get to my appointments.
So glad to know I'm no the only one! I add the accessories and shoes, then take a picture if it works really well for future reference. Lauren's suggestions have helped me pair items I would not have otherwise thought to pair. Love your show Lauren!

Can you talk a bit more about what to do about hiding that “ mighty Middle” when you are short. It is more difficult for the petite crowd who is dealing with the menopausal bulge. I am a real estate agent in a bustling city, who meets clients all day. Need to look sport chic but that mighty Middle gets in the way,,,, any suggestions?
You can also put together a couple of easy outfits with the accessories and keep them in your closet. That way you can grab them and go no worry if everything is together .
+pralinecookies I agree! I always have some outfits that are preplanned , ironed and hung in closet for those morning emergencies to keep from being late.
I have preplanned outfits hanging in my closet, but if I decide not to wear one of those and are in a rush than I'll grab a A-line dress, a blazer, and either a pump or bootie (all in neutral colors). I then let the accessories pop with color (either a necklace, scraf, or earrings). Sometimes I find the rush outfits come out better than the planned ones lol

Well, actually, first I panic because I truly hate being late! I put my hair in a high bun, put on some foundation, and finish with my favorite bold lipstick. I put on a bracelet or simple necklace and I'll put on mascara and eyeliner in the bathroom at the location if there's time, but I feel like as long as I have the lipstick, polished bun, and button down, it looks like I did it all on purpose. Last time this happened, I even got a few compliments.

My tips for make-up are keep it simple, quick and chic! So less is more concealer, eyepencil, mascara, browpowder and lip/cheek tint is all you need!
