  • Learn to make Lavender Vanilla soap with Kaolin Clay using Melt and Pour Soap base. 💜
    ► Lavender Essential Oil is a rich, floral, and herbaceous oil that is stress-relieving and sleep-inducing. It’s a versatile oil with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
    ► White Kaolin Clay, also referred to as China White Clay, is a very mild clay that improves blood circulation, and gently exfoliates and cleanses the skin. It helps remove impurities without removing the skin's natural oils, making it a great choice for dry or sensitive skin types.

    How in God's good name did you keep your soap melted so long? Mine is already going hard the minute it's off the heat. Beautiful results.

    Do we need to only use isopropyl alcohol?

    • @jo_diy
      @jo_diy  3 года назад +1

      The Isopropyl alcohol helps to incorporate additives into the soap base and burst any bubbles for a better final result. It is not absolutely necessary, but it is beneficial to the final outcome of the soap.

    The Alcohol in the mica makes the soap smell awful in my opinion .

    • @jo_diy
      @jo_diy  2 года назад +1

      If you use a high percentage alcohol (e.g. 99% Isopropryl Alcohol) and only a tiny amount to dissolve the mica, the alcohol should evaporate and not leave any scent in the soap. If you find a better way to do it that works for you, I'd love for you to share it. Thanks for watching!
