About Hiding emotions... It's a double edged sword. When you are angry and pissed don't show it. Vent about it to someone or alone like Crackalack said. But when you are hyped or things are going well, specially while the artist is performing, show that positive energy. Shout out loud things like: Yeah great job. That's it. Yeah come on more power. Get it all out. It hypes them and builds the artists confidence too. Always worked like a charm.

100% I agree with this. I feel referrals only go so far though. Once you get well known in your area, theres no reason to give a discount to anyone even for referrals if theres a high chance those clients will come to you anyways. Just my thoughts, though!
Sometimes I agree, totally not worth the time. But those same clients that took 2 hours to pull up to set and still went along with the music video booked about 6 other music videos with me. So over 2 years I made appox. $10,000 off of that artist. If I would've walked off set, that client journey/relationship would've been completely lost. So, it can be a big win or a big loss with situations like that.
Great content but I'd say we can't normalize "rap time". If I have a music video shoot, I have a set time I will be there and done. I can wait, but I'm only shooting to the desired time unless they pay extra because then, that is showing they don't respect your time. Time is everything and because I do it like that, I've never waited extra time unless they paid and they all were satisfied

I could imagine countering the discount question with proposing something like $100 discount for each new client the exposure gets you.

Ayyyeee! Can't wait to link with Crack in person!
One thing I found out is that a lot of artists don't memorize their songs. So it's a struggle to shoot performance scenes sometimes.
or they are too hyped afterwards during editing and then you can hardly do the lip sync
Man the struggle lol
Sooo many times haha. But that’s the name of the game sometimes!

Where did you get that square dual handle grip? I can't find one shaped square like that for the Ronin-S
I believe if you look up 'Ronin S extended grips' it should pop up! They're great!

How much do you typically charge for a music video? How do you determine the rate?
It totally depends on the treatment, number of locations and how long we're on set for! It fluctuates quite a bit, though!
What’s the project cost $ to shoot music video with you ?
It totally depends on the number of locations and what the script/treatment is looking like!
Waiting two or 3 hours I can understand. But waiting a whole day man?
