Hi, great videos, I have some od symptoms. The engine revs don’t go back as I release the accelerator, then when the engine is warm the revs are pending up and down repeatedly. Great Ful for tips where to start looking.
I had a 96 geo tracker that i battled with every year for emissions. Some little metal tube in the egr system would get plugged up if i remember correctly
Luckily I don't need to make a part 4 yet - the truck is running great! Is there a specific topic you are looking for? I will have a new video this week with an overview of my truck.
hi again and thx for the replay/ can u make a test to see if the oxygen sensor working good with the new setup? i fix my misfires and tune up, with new spark plugs and cleaning the carburetor. and all work good for few weeks. until i gat error from my oxygen sensor. and when i put back the old setup it work fine(did it only for testing). in your videos you change parts becouse the 16T mile service, did you checked if the oxygen sensor is working good with the new setup? has the sensors where replaced before? thx
Actually you don’t have to remove the intake tube to change the plugs, it is a challenge to remove the plug wires from the plugs, but you just have to manipulate them correctly to get them out of the way.. I have a 1995 tin top with the 16v engine and I have done this a couple a times
The 16V uses plugs with a 5/8 hex. You'll need a spark plug socket. These have a rubber gromet inside to keep the plug attached to the socket for installation and removal.
Hey guy, big help here from you with my 1997 Sidekick.

How badly was it bogging? I have a Suzuki escudo 1991 that is bogging horribly..
It was bogging pretty bad with any amount of acceleration - very noticeable.
I think you should have OBD 1. Have you tried pulling any codes?
You should always gap your plugs, always 👍🏻
That's what I was taught too!
What size is the spark plug extender remover or proper name and size for it ? Thanks . I have a 96 geo

Did you do your compression test with it warm?
Yep, full temperature just before I ran the test.
