They lost half their viewership when they moved to Friday nights for a month or so during the NBA playoff, but almost immediately gained that back when they went back to Wednesday. They are also consistently in the top 5 cable shows for the week and have been the highest rated cable show of the week a couple times.

And I listen to him all the time, but you can tell at times he's just burying spots cause that's what the WWE fanboys wanna hear. Cornette acts like he didn't paint Bautista blue have him come out of a river and call him Leviathan.
What's funny is he also buries the WWE which they're ok with. They know it sucks, they just wanna make sure AEW sucks too.
In reality it's not working. AEW is slowly bringing back a generation of fans.

Their 10 week average at the moment is 987,000 that outdraws it's closest competition by 300,000 viewers on Wednesdays. The average viewership year over year is up around 18% and hasn't been below twenty in 6 weeks. 18-49 viewership is up 9.7% year over year.

Some sage life advice in this video. Life goes by fast and we get busy. Manage the friendships that mean something to you. We wont always be here. Conversely, it's normal to drift apart from people. We all change. Doesn't mean things ended badly. Lastly, the internet is not real life: You don't have to agree about everything. The reason you are friends is because you have something in common. A shared past has a whole lot of currency when you get older.

"I don't have to agree with someone to find them entertaining".
My thoughts exactly. I don't agree with somethings Corney says, but he ALWAYS explains his position and puts it in terms where you can understand why he has the beliefs that he does.
I don't have the disdain for Omega and the Bucks that Cornette does, but I also didn't work in the business and fight to keep it "protected" for a guy to come in and wrestle at little girl and a blowup doll. I'm also more forgiving and don't hold that against Omega or Takeshita (both were in their mid 20s when doing that), but Cornette comes from it at a different angle, even different than JR as Corenette is coming from the perspective of a manger who used to have people try to attack him for promos that he cut. JR may have been from that same era, but he didn't have that same experience.
I'm not against women using weapons in matches, but Cornette explains that if a woman kicks out of a chairshot, what does a man have to be hit with to keep him down" So, again, it's about protecting the business and not making the job harder (physically) than it already is.
I do enjoy when a wrestle attempts to discredit JC and he takes them to task over it.
