_similar to ... the DJI Focus Pro_ Like, how similar? Like, full manual instead of lidar-driven fully automatic system? Yeah, yeah. Indeed. _The obvious difference is the price tag and a couple bells and whistles_ And the whole lidar automation is now "bells and whistles". Cool.
@GZYiHao fair point. I didn’t word that very well. Thanks for calling it out. I didn’t go with the DJI focus pro for 2 reasons: 1. Price tag (duh) 2. I’ve heard too many people talk about issues with the lidar system. Everything from issues with mounting it, getting the perfect measurement from the sensor to the lidar… if im gonna pay that much than I’m holding out till a later version or when some company figures out a better way. Till then I’m forcing myself to learn manual focus better.
@@flake-films Sorry if I sounded snappishly, it happens in the morning... That wasn't my intention. Talking DJI FP, I was one of the first ones who put their hands on it as soon as it was finally released (and after the first batch flew out there were long delays before restocking, as I heard). It worked miracles for me. Literally. I shot 2 documentaries immediately after buying it, having very little time to get used to it and feel at home with it. Never - not even once - had I any focusing issues. Which was incredible, as I *hate* manual focusing with all my heart and soul. There were of course issues here and there, but only in setting the system up with different glasses, never in actual function of the system. This may sound pathetic and way too apologetic, but well, I urgently needed a tool; I grabbed it; it worked - what else would I need from it.
@@GZYiHao not pathetic at all. You had a gig and you got the gear to make it happen. That is so cool you were one of the earliest adopters and I’m probably way off in saying there are bugs. You can only trust RUclipsrs looking for views so much lol.
As an FX3 owner - this is so dope but damn that whole thing just looks so unbalanced. I wish they would make an fx3,fx4,fx6,fx9. Fx3 is the current body, FX4 is a bigger boxier and balanced body with an internal nd, fx6 is even bigger with more buttons and luxuries, fx9 same as it is. I think sony would destroy with that
@@flake-films exactly - BM and Sony Refuse to do it. I think cannon sucks these days but truly I love the formfactor of their C series cameras. Its like every company refuses to make what people want - idk if you saw the Nexus G1(rehoused BMPCC). IMO is literally perfect everything except the platform its on
Dang pretty smart with the battery
@beauwhite491 yeah I got a little scared taking a drill to it but it worked out. Lol
Nice, that’ll be rad to have with the Helios 🥳
@roguerunnerfilms definitely stoked to get more cine glass. 🤑

Great video! I currently have the old tilta nano and I'm thinking about upgrading because I hate the battery solution for the one I currently have.
@MtZionMediaPro Does the tilta nucleus have the same power issues?
Own it never used it. too complicated.
@Kemstylebossy fair
@ the connection process was hard not enough tutorials one how to do it 🤷♂️
@Kemstylebossy yeah for being a cinema company you’d think there’d be more informational video content? Missed opportunity small rig. Lol

@bananaear23 yeah you’re probably right. I kinda wish there was one about the form factor/size as a ZCam
