I know that this is a race machine where form follows function, yet it is a beautiful looking car. Also the livery is bang on and doesn't have to hide behind all those classic ones.

I kind of want Toyota to win, but wouldn't mind seeing Porsche winning it either. As long as it isn't Cadillac and Ferrari I'll be happy.
Maybe if there is an accident with the Toyotas, or Ferraris. On merit? Don't believe it's possible.
@@MoveTowardsTheLight Testing results show that the porsche 963 had better pace than the gr010 by like 3 tenths of a second in lap times. The Ferrari 1 puegeout 2 porsche 3 toyota 4 cadillac 5 and then the underdogs glickenhuas and vanwhall. So don't think it's not possible. Le mans is very different from the rest of the races like spa and portimao.
@Jesko. Indeed Le Mans is different from those tracks. Will keep an eye out during qualis.
Its impossible for Porsche. Toyotas Pole from 2022 was 5 seconds faster as Toyotas session time yesterday. Toyota improved the GR10 over the last 12 months a lot.
Toyota and Ferrari were 3 seconds a lap faster in Spa. The 963 was awful slow in every race the car competed so far. Daytona, Sebring, Portimao, Spa. If we are friendly, it was the third best car in the grid. And thats very friendly because in Spa Cadillac was faster, too.
Spa is the best indicator for Le Mans. Long straights, fast corners. So no. Its not very different. Its very similar to Le Mans. In terms of Speed, Porsche has no change of winning.
Toyota and Ferrari are sandbagging and playing with the rest. Porsche need a Porsche BoP to be in the game.
I could watch this 100 times. Gives me chills and I’m not even a big Porsche fan

The porsche 963 lmdh looks like a race car out of a Sci fi movie. It's different from the others. It's special. It's very smooth leading to the rear wing. And the pit stop lights either blue or purple. Just make it so much better. I am eagerly waiting to see it speed past the camera man in the le mans mulsanne at night showing its speed, sound and aesthetics. Good luck!

just think about how beautiful a 2023 Porsche victory would be: 100th anniversary of le Mans -> Porsche has the most victories out there with 18 of them, 75th anniversary of Porsche, and it would break down the Toyota superiority.
So Porsche, as I love your cars and the races you have done, I want you to win the 2023 season of the 24h Le Mans.

Porsche, can you please make a follow up commercial to that commercial from I think 17 years ago where the kid says something like, "See you in 20 years," but this new commercial would have him grown up and buying a Porsche? Love Porsche, but they made a huge mistake going with multimatic and lmdh for their leman car....should have done a true hypercar vs the lmdh.
It has all been practice up to June 10 and 11 of this year.
As much as I want to see Ferrari break their loss streak I would not be surprised if Porsche won their first time out with the 963 putting their overall win count to 20 on their 75th anniversary

It's a disappointment that Porsche didn't build 963 themselves as full factory team like 919, but only designed it and gave it to Multimatic for construction. Then put in it an old slightly upgraded 918 Spider engine, instead of developing new one more capable for victories (like it was with 919) and gave this half-baked, so called hypercar to Penske to race it.
We can hope for something lucky to happen, but this car is no true successor to the legends 917, 956, GT1 and 919 !!!
Sounds like they did it intentionally to mitigate the embarrassment if Ferrari and Toyota beat them.

Well! I am damn disappointed of Le Mans results… no speed and no consistency! Even the Cadillac or Peogoet were better! The earlier generation has done a better job! Don’t you guys agree? 🤔
Both Glickenhaus finished ahead of all 4 Porsches. And well... never been high on them, tbh. They only dominated when they had the majority of cars, or even half the field, like (for example) in 1987 with 12 Porsches against 11 cars from other manufacturers (Jaguar, Nissan, Sauber, Toyota)
In the modern era, they along with Audi they were spending up to $250 million on their program. And when they got competition from Toyota (up to this point spending than $100 million) they just fucked off.
