The restoration is amazing! But, how much of its value is decreased? For example, the logo on the bottom sides is lost... I love these kinds of videos but it's a question going on my mind!
In my opinion the bag can not be sold as a Louis Vuitton, even if the restauration is good, the quality is not even close to the original. LV items are meant to be used and get that patina it is useless to touch them
Louis Vuitton will not touch any of their products that have been repaired or restored by anyone other than LV. It cannot be resold as a legitimate LV if it's not been restored with original LV materials. If owner wants to resell they must disclose the restoration. If it's been restored with this much precision and detail I don't think anyone would care. Especially if it's for their own personal use.

Hello, if you don’t mind sharing, what was the brand of leather dye you used for the edges? I’ve been looking for a perfect match everywhere and the best I have found is by Rocky Mountain leather supply and is an edge paint.
Thank you for watching! The dye is roapas batik but I'm not sure you can buy it in your country. Edge paint is a pigment, not a dye, so it is not suitable for Louis Vuitton.

How to remove creases? I bought a vintage piece, the monogram and vachetta are still in good condition. But I couldn't remove the creases despite puting stuffs in it.
If you're talking about the canvas, this is a matter of time and effort. I thoroughly cleaned and nourished it (with a silicone based treatment but do NOT get it on the leather...and only use small amounts or it will remain sticky and then you will get it on the handles etc just through ordinary usage), and then heated the canvas area with a hair dryer, taking care not to overheat it in patches or you will damage it. I put on a diffuser attachment to the hairdryer to widen the area being heated and reduce the overall temperature. Then I stuffed it. The vinyl will change shape over time. most importantly I also bought a bag organiser which was very useful in restoring the shape over time. I reheated it with the dryer from time to time. Now my Boston style aka Speedy bag is perfect!

I do not agree with everyone else saying that this is a good restoration. It is not good because you took away too much of the original material when it was not at all necessary to do so.
I agree, maybe some color change would've been just fine.

only disadvantage - while restoring you not using original LV leather :( so the real cost of bag decreasing as well as authenticity
It's not important to us and our customers.
I was disappointed in not seeing him or her clean the outside body of the bag. Looks like he just remade every part from scratch, used the original body which he did not seem to touch at all as to clean up. That was a bit surprising to see in an otherwise meticulous redo.
All of our work is ordered by customers.
That would be time-consuming and it's something the customer can do for themselves it's not skill-based.

Hey, could you share handles patterns? Ty
If you watch the video, he dissembles all of the bag flattens the pieces and traces/makes a pattern out of that. You can do it with clothes it's exactly the same principle, but the pieces must be flat.

Nice work, however, does the resale value change, decrease, or stay the same, once a restoration had occurred? Just wondering since this is a high-end luxury item. Does anyone else have an opinion about that? Loius Vitton doesn't come cheap. Another thing, I'm kinda taken aback by the fact that L.V. doesn't use real leather materials on the entire bag. Seems more like a vinyl.
It's coated canvas. They do have full leather lined but their main product line is coated canvas which comes from their roots as a trunk manufacturer.
It is not ASMR when there are lots adverts in the middle :(

It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on the craftsmen and quality inspection. My family and I have purchased D U P B A G Y bags over the past three years and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
