Hi, Just wanted to thank you for such wonderful videos. Your positive message on being "Enough" is inspirational and true. I'm so happy for this tutorial, you are abundantly blessed. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for posting your video, not only is it practical and informative for quilting, but a lovely creative inspirational idea to start the new year with. Leah, you have taught me how to quilt and I think you are brilliant! thank you
Thanks again Leah for more wonderful instructions. I can't wait to get my machine back from the shop! I also looked up the link i am enough, and found it wonderful. We all need to look at the positives in our lives and less at the negatives. Your work and sharing are a true blessing...
You are not only a great teacher and superb quilter but you have clearly learnt the difficulty with negativity. What ever is happening around you it is important to stay positive otherwise your health and every part of you can become unbelievably down. I've been there and found quilting not only gave me a great interest but made feel so good about myself. I'm not worried if it's not perfect just that I made it with love for whomever it was intended. Take Leah
Absolutely! One thing I learned was to stop digging and picking at old wounds and that helped immensely to return my heart and mind to a more positive place. I'm so happy to help you on your quilting journey!
Try setting your printer to print "poster" or "tile pages" I have heard that you need an updated version of Adobe Reader to see the poster setting. Try an update and see if that helps!
I just personally don't like to clip the threads off that way. I find when you build up thread to try to "lock" it in, it often isn't really secure (run your finger nail over it a few times and you'll see what I mean), and it creates an ugly knot on the back and front of your quilt. It's really a personal choice, but I always cut the tails long, tie a knot, and hide them inside the quilt.
Great video Leah! Love the haircut! Question - why do you not use the lockstitch on your machine and trim threads close to the quilt rather than bringing up the threads( for catching in later I presume?) between words? PS This is NOT a rhetorical question!!
Am unable to print out the PDF free pattern. It keeps printing out only one page of the center of the panel. I do have the settings on NONE. Any suggestions????
This is free motion quilting, so there really isn't a set stitch length because it's controlled by a ratio of the speed of your machine vs the speed of your hands moving. I have a lot of basic videos all linked up right here for you to start from the beginning: ruclips.net/p/PLNkZhEjxH0nIvlF_fK4kKWpZpig9hA2cc
+bopgirrl - The pattern was discontinued last year, but you can still find the fabric right here: www.spoonflower.com/fabric/1607613-express-your-love-cheater-cloth-printed-quilt-panel-by-leah_day

Leah, I just love your work and videos. Thank you for them.
Thank you for your wonderful, positive words. Checked out the I AM ENOUGH project and it is fantastic. I am learning so much from this class!

Audio is working just fine for me on multiple computers so it's got to be something going on with your system. Hope that helps!
Enjoyed the inspirational words, even though I am not interested in any quilts with words at this point!
+Sandy Rock - Awesome!

Thank you.... it is Enough
💕💕💕💕💕
I use zig zag stitch with my thread set really close together for letters. That way it's bold with one pass. You can't even tell its zig zag

Great video, very positive : )
Not sure if I missed it, but did you discuss type of stitch, stitch length and width recommended?

Thank you so much for the quick reply! And you're just using a basic straight stitch, correct?
Great video. Can you recommend which type of thread to use for lettering?
Whatever works well for your machine and doesn't break. I believe I'm using Isacord thread in this video.
Thanks.

I would love to hear this video but am getting no sound even when I adjust my speakers. Did anyone else have this problem?
