More video's!!! This is great.... :) talking about selecting threads, needles and and fabric types to match threads would be super great! I believe that your video was great no matter any glitches....I would only like to see more! :) :)
WOW Nancy....i have never seen this performed before and your "tute" here is very reassuring that your viewers can soon be able to do this once they learn and realize the ease that your technique can give them. I am not new to sewing...I am a quilter but I have never attempted these techniques or the like and I have been trying to search for ways to enhance my projects further into more interesting looks and textures and I think your technique and direction can really achieve this for me. I will view and keep viewing to learn more so that I can find my "comfort zone" in painting with thread. I am a traditional style quilter and am MOST PROUD....however I would love to enhance my scrappy quilts and other personal designs of my own and give them some "WOW" feel to them. Thanks so much for this post....I am HOOKED...lol... Please if you have a list of any kind, put me on it. Thanks Ken from Orlando, Florida, USA PS: I have a wonderful Janome 6600 Professional machine.
can't wait to try this! i couldn't have sound on so I had cc on.. please try that.. I'm not sure who whites this stuff but when I can I'm rewatching so I can hear Nancy!
BTW, your video is AIGHT ... but your nails are fabulous!! (no I'm just joking - awesome video.. and super enlightening!) I could not do this in a million years.. but I am just now getting into FMQ! I'd love to know what Machien you're workin with
At the beginning you claimed the only stiches you use are a straight Or a zig zag stitch. All I see you using is a zig zag stitch, even on the straight lines going sideways. Do you have a video where you do not in any way use a zig zag stitch to do a complete project?

You're a wonderful teacher! Thank you for posting this. I can't wait to get started!

Thanks for your comment. I use a Bernina machine. All it takes is a little practice with free motion and you will be on your way.
