I completely appreciate the conversation on how Process Improvement/CM is needed in a successful initial and/or continuous transformation, as 2020 is the perfect example of WHY it is so important to integrate these methodologies into your work plans! Roles, responsibilities and processes may change, however customer expectations do not....delivering an amazing product or service is paramount to the success of a company, customers do not want to hear why things broke, the defect (in a product or service) should NEVER reach the customer! The COPQ (cost of lost opportunity, market share) can last a VERY long time...#defectsneverreachacustomer

Regarding Fixing an ERP implementation, I wonder how much time was a factor in the inadequate testing that was done before the 1st go-live. I have seen often there is an incredible time pressure to get to the roll out that the team will do the best tests possible but because of lack of time they cannot go on the floor or get all the people they want involved.
