Really like this idea for our F-150. . What length is your truck bed?

Thank you so much. I made a comment when I posted this, which was a correction. My brother added an unsolicited comment. It took 6 months to receive a comment by you , George. Thanks

Correction: The track ramp is constructed of 1x6 select pine board base cut to a width of 4 inches for the 4 inch wide tires. The two side guide tracks are 1x4 select pine boards that are glued to the base with titebond III wood glue.

Those pannier bags came with the bikes. Contact Lectric Bikes. They are one of the most popular electric bike companies.

Do you happen to have some plans drawn up?

Sorry, Doug, no plans. I built the bike rack to fit tight into my 2018 F150 truck bed with plastic liner. It is jammed between the sides and front of the wheel well. Make the front wheel supports out of doubled up 1/2 inch plywood. 3/4 inch plywood would probably work but I wanted more rigidity. Notch them to fit tight over 2x4 cross members. Then, brace them with short 2x4’s on their outsides. Then brace the insides with short 2/4’s that are on top of cross 2/4 members. This creates the deep wheel well for the front bike tires. The truck track part was sized to 4 inch Lectric Bike tires and bolted to truck bed with 2, 1/4 inch bolts each. The width between the two tracks was sized to be tight against the wheel wells. The bed slide was sized to fit bike rack and tracks. I hope this helps. Thanks for the comment.
