Thank you for your introduction to the concept of 同. Ｉhave read parts of the 仪礼and 周礼in order to understand the use of bronze ritual vessels, but never the 礼记. I am not sure I have the patience to start on such a long book! So much other Chinese literature to read and so many Chinese characters to learn. I really enjoy your explanations of Chinese poetry. Maybe one day you can discuss one of the Chuci.
Thank you for your kind words. 礼记 is a manual for the rulers and the officials about how to run an empire. It can be a bit tiresome for us common folks. But it would worth your while to read some part of it such as the chapters of 礼运，学记，大学，中庸，etc. They present the basic moral framework for imperial China.
Yes, I am planning to present one or two of 屈原's poems. His poems are often way too long and complicated to translate and explain. That is why I haven't translated any of this poems. Now he is on my to do list!
