I love the fast paced nature of the nexts, you really get the feeling of how decisive every move is in a duel. I do think some of the sound effects in game are a little soft and could use more punch, some of these guns are the size of minivans haha. Still love this game.
When I first played this I always thought it was called remember because it was like “remember the first time you did this mission you were on the other side of the fight remember that”
One drawback of AMS is critical damage on a NEXT will bring nervous system of the LYNX with it, unless plot armor he can be presumed dead or at least out of the picture if WG took enough damage to be disabled. Unless From decided to pick up the AC4 timeline again to make WG appear again (as likely as a LYNX would survive a AMS feedback) he stay that way.
Old discussion, but one of the books in For Answer includes an in-universe interview between a journalist and Fiona Jarnefeldt. Her wording implies that Anatolia's Mercenary survived, since she mentioned that Line Ark already had a pilot ready for deployment to replace White Glint, and was only lacking a NEXT.
How the hell did White Glint die? Seriously, when you fight against him, he's the fucking terminator, But when you fight with him, he goes down faster than you can say "WTF?"
+Gothmog, King of The Balrogs Dont think hes dead, His operator continues to say "We" not to mention she states hes disabled and cannot help..if he died im sure she would be pretty upset given ((i think)) she is the same operator for him in the last game.
He's not dead, obstarva probably got a lucky hit and disabled his thrusters It was confirmed that the pilot was able to be saved, but the white glint frame was totaled
@ウィアブー Especially considering the reaction Fiona has if you take down White Glint and the merc. I suspect their death was faked for some reason. Definitely had faith in you if they could risk doing that.
Line Ark is painted by the League and even ORCA as a refuge for terrorists and thieves to discredit it and justify their attacks on it, and that's absolutely true. Line Ark is a refuge for terrorists and thieves. But it's a refuge for all. It's the last safe place in the known world of AC4 that isn't owned by a Corporation or its immediate interests. And it's a shithole by comparison to other places because it doesn't depend on Kojima Energy and instead on sustainable sources that are under constant strain by its overpopulation. And if the world is saved by the downfall of Kojima resources and the landing of the cradles, billions still will die and the survivors will live in squalor for generations. But the desperation will force changes to be made and new infrastructure to be built if Humanity is to survive... and judging by the huge spans of time between Armored Core games, Humanity always survives whether it wants to or not. If Line Ark or its resources are lost, it's the end of the free world or even the world itself depending on what ending you Answer with.
Likewise! Otsdarva summed up how they're viewed in the ACFA world. "Slimey politicians with empty call to arms. I'll sink the lot of you to the bottom of the ocean." Meanwhile I'm over here ready to enlist.
Interestingly, Line Ark was indirectly saved by the emergence of ORCA. The threat to the Cradles caused the League to divert their attention away from Line Ark and focused on ORCA. A New Order For Next features an interview with Fiona during the time the League was fighting ORCA, stating that she's working on acquiring a Next for Line Ark's Lynx. So fighting to defend Line Ark actually ends up buying them enough time to keep going.

Not gonna lie, taking on these two guys without back weapons and with a non-permaflight capable AC is a challenge I've yet to best.
StellariumSound done it multiple times, though it's a challenge though yes.
It's a challenge, but I've done it with and without Assault Armor-ing the shit out of Fragile.
You kinda don’t need a perma fight ac as most of their ai trickles down to the water
It took me a while to realize that Remember was White Glint's theme. And that Scorcher was Strayed's.

I think "4 the Answer" is actually White Glint's theme.

The white glint didn't actually die I think, his machine just got dissabled, not even destroyed

@Siberian That is very good to hear. If anyone it's Line Ark and those two that deserve somewhat happy ending
@@siberian4097 Wait, Line Ark is still alive? So there's literally some form of hope in the For Answer Universe?
