      Thanks man but it took me 3 minutes to notice your time saving comment. This video doesn't need 3 minutes and 41 seconds of backstory lol.

    Attach the strings from the sticks to the small loops on the back of the med pack...that way all you need to do is pull on the top of the pack to release them...also they will stay attached and not be lost.

    Keep up the good work guys. Glad to see that negative comments from the RUclips community haven't discouraged your efforts. You guys rock. Keep it going.

    Molle sticks have been around for quite some time, even before Vanquest's inception. Vanquest did not collaborate with national molding on this, nor where the first to use them. They simply resell them. Itstactial has had these for a couple of years and was one of the first to use these on their medkits and pouches on which vanquest medpouches are based on. Itstactial did a review on these back in 2012

    That looks easy enough but I think I still prefer the sewn-on straps with snaps.
    At least for things I don't think I'll be taking off and putting back on, a lot.

      @Lizzard2060 3 года назад +1

      These were really designed for Med kits and Trauma kits or items you don't take off/on much but may need in the field or may need to give to someone else to care for a wounded ally. For all my other gear I still use the sew ons, but that gear doesn't move around.

    How strong are those clips? Are they easily loosened while using? Only concern

  • @p0ddie

    An often overlooked option that exists for years now are the Blackhawk speed clips. These molle sticks are even easier, though. I hope they don't just come off.

    I love that pouch! I’ve got to have one. Already on amazon. You should link in description and at least get some revenue from that. :)

    In your opinion, how hard would it be for those things to unlock when you DON'T want them to? That's my only worry with this kind of system. I do agree with what you said: this is clearly a very innovative product. If it works well, it will really make life easier for people who use MOLLE/PALS gear on a regular basis.

    • @paulmvn5431
      @paulmvn5431 9 лет назад

      laptopcommando you could always knot the loop to one of the loops on the backpack.

    • @Lizzard2060

      I've never had them come undone as you really have to "click it" to undo it and it takes some force to undo the clasp at the end. Done properly the stick lines stay tucked directly behind the top line of the gear they are attached to as you can see he had to pull the gear down to show you the unclipping part so the "strings can be untied, shortened, tied together, and barely visible or reachable even to harder branches and debri in rougher areas. Something would literally have to be poking the gear off to make the thing click and you would notice a branch stabbing you in your gear and trying to seperate your pouch before it likely had the correct angle to unclip these.

    Holy crap.. $11 for a 4 pack? Dude... I'm glad they didn't corner the mkt on something amazing and charge an arm and a leg. This is amazing. Condor Molle straps go for $10 on Ebay. Thanks for this vid!

    • @nocknock31

      Gear is over priced these days. Back during WWII they were spending about $121 on each American soldier. Now days up to $12,000. For one HSGI taco pouch it's like $80. Too much.

    Great tip, but I have a question. As you were talking about your plate carrier I noticed that under the AR 500 plates you had some kind of yellow material. What's the purpose for that? Or what is the reason you have it behind the plate?

    • @SCQT
      @SCQT 4 года назад

      My guess would be either impact absorption, or to simulate the thickness of a ceramic plate for training / fit as it looks pretty close to what they would be.

    Alice clips can do something similar while staying attached to the pouch. Too bad they're not the right length for MOLLE.

    These seem pretty cool. Probably gonna get some so that I can use this for my medkit, which unfortunately has shitty snaps that pop off too easily

    malice clips do suck. i appreciate your video and i understand the need to rip something off quickly. however, i don't have that need for my personal purposes. so, i refuse to buy any molle accessory that doesn't have the sewn-on molle straps onto the accessory. makes me mad as hell when i have to buy something extra when it should have been a sewn-on part of the gear. again, i understand special needs like a quick-rip-off-pouch. anyway, thanks for video & i thumbed it up.

    • @VSO_Gun_Channel
      @VSO_Gun_Channel  9 лет назад

      I prefer not to do bench top reviews. Unfortunately, some products you have to sit down with and dig into. I can get excited about table top on a piece of vanquest kit because they get it. You won't see many of those kind of vids here but to do some products justice you have to slow it down for a second and take a good look at it.

    Malice clips:
    I mean, the name kinda says it all, don't it?
    We had Alice clips in boot camp and I fuckin hated that shit.
    Really wish MOLLE gear would go mainstream. Like not just Tactical dudes but, all outdoorsmen should adopt it. Have MOLLE gear on your North Face backpack. And integrate it into urban environments with Jansport backpacks.
    Why can't your winter jacket have MOLLE?
    MOLLE gear is great shit but, it just screams tactical and draws attention to itself because it's only used by "operators"
