Charles & Kim, Could you write the recipes in the Description portion of your video? Showing them by video does not come out clearly, and occasionally you forget a measurement or time or temp. We would be so grateful! You are doing a great job sharing fast recipes. Can you find fast cold salad recipes to dump in a bowl, that don't require lots of chopping of veggies? Or maybe use canned, precut, or frozen, but are cold not hot? THANK YOU!
I love trying new recipes. I also love getting the most value for my grocery dollars. I used to go immediately for the generic brand you cook with often in your 1 pan dishes. I still do, to an extent, but after beginning to read labels for several reasons, I've discovered that there are too often unhealthy ingredients in them that are not included in some name brand choices. Also, often, the generic brand is processed with either inferior or outdated equipment or methods resulting in potentially toxic byproducts being in the food. One such byproduct is BPA. Information on BPA and other concerns with processed foods is widely available. Name brands cost more, but most do not contain such unhealthy materials. While there is a time and place for quick and easy recipes, and from time to time I'll prepare a dish like these, I make a great effort to cook with fresh ingredients if at all possible and to pay very close attention to which canned, frozen, or packaged ingredients I'll use and to the details regarding how beef, pork, chicken, and seafoods were obtained and processed. There is no substitute for fresh ingredients. I'm almost 60 years old now. I cook Sunday dinner almost every Sunday for my whole family. My adult children and grandchildren come for the day. I enjoy knowing they're being well nourished. I strive to have everything laid out completely upon their arrival so they can enjoy eating together and relaxing after a long work week, with no dishwashing afterwards. These days together are priceless and very important to me. I make enough to send them all home with food for Monday. What's more, it's very gratifying to learn that now they're cooking this way at home for their families and they see the importance of preparing good foods. I refuse to feed my family regularly with dump and go recipes. Doing so would make a clear statement that time for my own personal interests is more important to me than investing my time in their wellbeing. Theres no love in that. Even my young grandchildren can see that.
Can I please just spend a week with you all???…. I absolutely LOVE you both…. I love your conversation …. And you give all of us such a “feel good” energy!!… Thank you!!!
I like the other variation a little better. Mixing the biscuit mix with the milk and pour just after the veggies, then mix the soup and 2 cups of chicken broth and pour over everything. I love this dish
So good. I cooked chicken breasts with thyme, pepper & onion powder. It made the 2 cups broth. Next time I wanna add a little poultry seasoning. Husband wants a little butter on the cust. Thank you for your yummy recipes.
Did you know that the drawer under the oven is not for storage, but is a warming drawer where you can also use for yeast breads to prove? I'm 67 and just found that out
Hay Charles. Did you know that the drawer under the oven is not for storing pans and trays. It's a warming drawer. When you have a lot of dishes you put the finished ones in there to keep warm until the others are ready to serve. I still store stuff in there and just take it out when I need it as a warming drawer. When I'm making that much food I usually need all those pans anyway.
My husband doesn't eat chicken either it drives me crazy WHO DOESNT LIKE CHICKEN ! I GOT tired of trying to cook for him so now I fix what every one else likes and he has peanut butter or bologna !
I can't eat the canned soups. I am allergic to so many of the ingredients. I am trying to make something similar to make these. I will use plain sour cream instead of the sour cream and onion dip. I hope to come up with something.
@CharlesParks I think I know what you're talking about regarding the toxic levels thingy... Not sure if it's broccoli or spinach, but too much (of which ever one it is) is something to do with chlorophyll toxicity... I'm no scientist, but I remember hearing something about it...
Awesome recipes! I'm gonna have to rewatch and take notes, LOL!
YUM YUMS! How yummy! I can see your beautiful dog's mouth watering in the background! Too cute! 🥰

Wow I never knew that!
Yes, but we use it for storage 😅😅😅😅
My daughter makes this and it's delish! 😋
That melt and dip is really good. I really grab that instead of Velveeta
😊😊😊 Would Have Cooked the
Hamburger Well Done that's Only
To My Liking 😊😊😊
Thanks for sharing
All these recipes look & sound delicious! For cheesy potato casserole did you put oven on 350?
I myself was wondering if the oven was 350 or 375. Either way these cheesy potatoes look delish 😋
I put crushed cornflakes on top of the hash brown potato casserole then add melted butter over them.
Looks yummy
Just as a treat now and then as too much salt and fat but great idea if cooking stresses you out and you have guests

Sounds good
I bet that would be good with Doritos crunch or corn chips
Oxylates (sp?) in the spinach.
Looks like great recipes, since my husband doesn’t eat chicken, I was thinking of ways to change it up to what he would eat?? Thanks for sharing!!
My husband doesn't eat chicken either it drives me crazy WHO DOESNT LIKE CHICKEN ! I GOT tired of trying to cook for him so now I fix what every one else likes and he has peanut butter or bologna !
The cream of chicken soup you should have mixed in with the chicken. I do it all the time and it works great.
I put spinach in almost everything I eat. I need the greens and the fiber of it. 🤷🏻♀️
I can't eat the canned soups. I am allergic to so many of the ingredients. I am trying to make something similar to make these.
I will use plain sour cream instead of the sour cream and onion dip. I hope to come up with something.
You can replicate the canned soup mixes with fresh ingredients easy. I see it all the time on recipes.
Top rack rather than middle?👍⭐️
So much butter! My heart slows down when I see the amount of butter in a lot of recipes. My arteries are hardening. Lol!
My hubby calls this...Whats the pan of slop tonight 😅😅😅😅 so then i learned to actually cook
Not every night do you want to spend an hour in the kitchen but you need a hot meal great with salad and buns and you are done!❤
Plus you could tell your husband to cook 😂❤
What a bastard 😂 Mine too !!!!!
How rude!
I make this but I mix cream of chicken soup with chicken broth before adding
@CharlesParks

Campbell's should pay you!!
Let those casseroles sit about 10 to 15 minutes to set up well. That first casserole sounds delicious.
Bacon bits too!!
Why didn’t you eat the macaroni?
I don't use Garlic salt . I use lot sea salt
Too many greens aren't good for you can cause Kidneys stones
Oops,no potatoes just peas and carrots???
Chicken pot pie
Too much bad carb 😢
We call it chicken slop. Haha... everyone's so creative.
Is this a real job ?
Your right about spinach it's not good for your to much
Yeah I'm curious about the toxicity thing maybe somebody can tell us I hope so 😒
Only if you eat a very large amount
Nope. No canned stuff. Bad for you.
It's spinach. It can thin your blood.
