Hi Christine & Bill What an amazing hunt. I mean you were amazing Bill the speed and amount of digging you achieved and Christine what great camera work and positive encouragement for Bill. I was blown away with the total amount of finds lots of pull tabs, coins, junk, metal and you found some rings. The clover silver ring looked great. As for the idea of the two hunts i am really torn because the both had there merits it just depends how much work you want and what you find. Yes, but I can't seem to get her to use anything but the Vanquish... However, we tested out the XTerra for tomorrow's video and I think we are hooked. We will have to buy one from you when they come in. I think she really liked it even though I did the actual hunting. Longer range of VDI's to get use to.
@@DigginSoCal I should have another in a couple weeks. Minelab's logistics haven't been the greatest lately. We're still months behind on Manticores, the GPX6000s are iffy at times, and now this XterraPro is a slow shipper too. I hope they catch up soon.
Your videos are just plain fun to watch. Another winner. Bill, you need to get yourself a long handled digger (think Predator) for those deeper targets. A lot less work and clean plugs. Then you can move in with the Lesche and pinpointer. Looking forward to the next one. Bill

I could never dig that much trash…I’m highly selective in my low/mid conductors….I know those are the possible gold targets, but I’m an old coin/deeper/higher conductor target hunter in the turf….I’ll dig most every target at the beaches though…congrats on all your loot! 👍🏼

Great video, ive hunted using selective VDI at local parks like this and also with different coil sizes, same detector, missed out on a gold necklace and lots of jewelry and foreign coins.
It can be a good method but I do like digging everything. I tend to skip some numbers when in a lot of trash. My least most favorite number is 6 on the NOX

Your pinpointer is out of battery again, I hear the double talk it makes and I hate it that you can't use Lithium Battery's unless you can now but Use the best when you can,but I usually get about 10 hunt's (days) out of my G- Carrot 🥕 and Very Glad to have it and It's no Fun if you ever forget it. And A Very Short Hunt if you do...... but I see Why you have to change batteries ALOT is because of you never turn it off once you get to detecting and would love to have a Anything Minelab and will try to catch your video Sunday, but was planning on going to detect with my poor Simplex..... that needs a Update but not Available..... Great Hunt

Watched on the wall screen as usual but the have to go phone to ‘like’ and make a comment sense have no idea how to do it in the tv. That sure was a lot of digging. Confirms my assertion that the beach with a scoop is so much better. Be waiting with anticipation for the GAW vid. Need another chance of not winning 😊.
Yes, the sand scoop is much better on the back. The beach is an hour away for us vs parks but I would rather be at the beach. Good luck on not winning...lol. You never know

Been trying consistently getting out maybe 3 times a week this year. And the constant hunts have proven their worth - just found my 3rd gold ring this year. Yoo hoo! Topped over 500 pieces of metal trash though.

I use mine all of the time and have never been questioned in a local park. Plus the long handle digs much cleaner plugs. You should give yours a try.
Just make sure it is one of the type intended for detecting and not an actual shovel.
