Hambantota is an old and widely debunked example. It began as a Canadian project. Sri Lanka tried to manage the port by itself and failed.

China does not have any strategy against India, all right. It is India who think they are the rivary to China, not China thinking India that way

"Missile Tracking vessel" Forget about the details of the kind of the ship, the question asked was about the details of reason for that ship to be on that port.

The problem is not sri lanka but sri lanka losing soviengthy over the port which you further are giving up with the oil refinery deal.
Which means sri lanka is giving up her ability to make a decision that checks India power in her own backyard. And that means you are setting Sri Lanka as a potential adversary to India and all without even having a say in it.
See, its the integration of both Chinese investment as well, ultimately - its a system that ends up governing and sri lanka is giving that up to China.

Yaar I'm surprised this guy gets to interview these people with such less knowledge about these things. The questions, the posturing is wildly embarrassing. I'm starting a RUclips podcast soon. Better late than never.

The host is exaggerating it a bit as expected but must understand that Sri Lanka can never go against India even if it wants to. Also this attitude of doing only what India wants is annoying. When another country offers help, obviously we’d take it. We can’t be waiting as the lives and livelihoods of millions of Sri Lankans hang in the balance.

The amount of fumbling that is happening while talking here, the interviewee is being too conscious of what to tell and how to tell.

Dude - You are no way matured enough to talk about Indian strategy and perception. Stick to asking questions and learning than talking about what India thinks. You are giving wrong perception about India and what Indians think with your immature comments.
