This song from Asterism project album "Animetic" which contains covers of some Anime soundtracks. You must-must-must-must listen to original Asterism songs, they have plenty great songs, here some of them : "Dawn" : ruclips.net/video/buQPvINJcA0/видео.html "Church" : ruclips.net/video/pkiKSBX8JPA/видео.html "Midnight Hunter" : ruclips.net/video/076UikYGA3Y/видео.html "Rising Moon" : ruclips.net/video/BKbxEEYezZc/видео.html "Faced/Burned": ruclips.net/video/ReGzJG1Nd5s/видео.html (since you mention Fugazi, this one has strong Fugazi vibe)
Yes this is a collab. The tall guy is PelleK, a Norwegian singer with 4 million RUclips subscribers. He mostly does anime covers. Asterism is Haruka (lead guitar and composer), Miyu (bass) and Mio (drummer). They are all young (Haruka just turned 20). Asterism are primarily an instrumental jazz/progressive metal fusion band. Haruka is considered an absolute guitar prodigy. You should see the videos of her playing her own songs when she was 12 years old. Miyu is also unbelievably talented, especially on his 7-string bass.
Asterism is my favorite instrument band. They are all top level musicians and still very young. The guitarist and bassist are 20 years old, and the drummer is 23 years old. This one is a cover song. I suggest you guys check out their original songs. I recommend 《 dawn》 and 《church》🤘🏻👍🏻
The first full Asterism album 'Ignition' (2018) is full of relatively traditional heavy metal. Executed at the highest level. The technical ability demonstrated makes this look like a cake walk. Although it's great to see Haruka (stylized as HAL-CA) singing. That's MIYU on bass. He usually plays a 7 string, but will bring out a 4 or 5 string depending on the song. His brother MIO is the drummer. Their next two releases, 'GUERNICA' (2020) and 'GUERNICA + a' (2021) were more progressive. Their latest is a Japanese anime / metal cover album titled "Animetic", released on September 9th, 2022. They each chose favorite anime themes to "Asterism-ize". That's where this cover song originated, although the album version is strictly instrumental.
Incredible musicians. Yeah, they're an instrumental band most of the time. Unlike some Asterism fans, I'm enjoying these covers and collaborations with vocalists a lot (plus Pellek has a great voice). That said, they are at their best performing their own music, which has a very different sound. Dawn (live), Overdrive, Church, Museum of Death, etc.. All instrumentals, all fantastic.
This is the first time i have seen "Asterism" with vocals ! The three members play instrumentals mostly =) You should check out "Rising Moon" MV ( The Sessions Vol.2 ) This is a song Hal-Ca wrote and it's their first MV i think ! Thanks
I'm surprised this song was suggested. (Or did you pick it randomly?) Asterism is mainly an instrumental band and their songs are much heavier than this one. Yes, Pellek is the male singer. The guitarist Hal-Ca is an absolute shredder. They started when they were teens and now are in their early 20s. The bassist and drummer are brothers. Definitely check out their instrumentals for a representation of what this band is really all about.
Believe me, you've absolutely seen nothing yet what ASTERISM can do. As impressive as it was, it's just a side project doing some anime covers their own way. You have to listen to their original songs on their YT channel, like "Dawn", "Church", "Light inthedarkness" or "Faced/Burned". Thanks 🤘🏻🙂

It was the first one we saw. Please send us any suggestions
@@professorandknowitall Logic Bender replied with a bunch of good ones.
You should react to immobilized from pellek
We will look into it.
As mentioned this does not even come close to showing the band members true talents.
