Cath had a lot against her on this shoddy relief, yet PC Lockett stayed in his place at Sun Hill. He briefly appeared in the 1992/Series 8 episode 'Prisoners'.
Feel like Cathy was never suited for sergeant felt like they should have made June sergeant sooner. I did like the C relief episodes though they were fun a bit of rivalry
I'm no kill joy as if I was out with a bunch like C relief I would laugh and go along with it as I was on a farming course and there was lads that mucked around just like C relief do I was level 1 and they were level 2
The wife should have been arrested for constantly locking her husband out of the house. Lock her out and the problem would soon be solved. Cathy is in the right the C relief thinks anything goes so long as they can act like children. An officer is responsible for looking out for his career, no one else is responsible.
OUTRAGEOUS episode and clearly shows the malaise in the public sector. Poor Cathy was not at all backed by anyone in authority even though she was 100% right How the hell can the job description be about enforcing law and order but looking the other way for crime amongst your own. Sickening. Brownlow is as weak as piss.... Understands there is a problem but then can't face actually dealing with it. We need more Cathy's.
@@BezosAutomaticEye Corporal of horse (CoH) is a rank in the British Army's Household Cavalry corresponding to sergeant in other regiments. Maybe he was in the mob and is tetchy about it
@@Trek001 Actually it is between sergeant and staff sergeant, which is probably why Brownlow used it to describe Cathy's position of acting sergeant as neither being one or the other. I don't think for one minute that the programme producers were intending to or even did mock the Blues and Royals with this reference. Rik Langham needs to get off of his high horse if anything. Pun intended!
Brownlow, the awkwardness of the "cough and drop" , ,the hand movements, Brilliant.
Cathy Marshall was an absolute gemstone...in thought, speech and manner...
Bob Cryer could have been a good Inspector
Ive watched a lot of the 1991 episodes & most of them are great. Including this one. Thank you for uploading 👍
Along Martella,Cathy has also some tough character
C relief are perfect city employees
How could the old woman hear what Marshall was saying? Though a closed window 🤔
Those old single paned windows with wooden frames are quite easy to hear through if both parties are not so far away.
I think the problem with Lockett is more than insurance. Calling his superior a "jumped up little
..." is the bigger problem.
Cathy underestimates herself

How many episodes are the whole of C relief in?
It's Dr Neil Bolton from heartbeat

Yep they are funny. They may seem like they act like their shoe sizes but their actually funny

PC Lockett has a cheeky face

Poor Cath, she's only trying to do her job.
Did Peter Ellis record this with a cold? He sounds much softer and quieter than he normally did.
Private sector they'd sort attitudes like that faster
Kathleen Byron was beautiful - even at nearly 70 here
Episode aired Jul 30, 1991
How exactly does c relief work? when are they on and what happened to be relief
8 hour shift patterns. In basic terms;
00:00-08:00 A relief
08:00-16:00 B relief
16:00-00:00 C relief
I thought it was early 0600-1400, late 1400-2200 and night 2200-0600
That's why A Relief are Sunhill's finest...I worked all reliefs in the army but mine were called X-Ray, Yanky and Zulu. Zulu being the 'Late Turn'...
@@tfairley1187 You may be right. I've heard it called all kinds of obscenities...
THE TITLE , Ldg . C . o. H . , WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE . PLEASE DO NOT MOCK THE BLUES AND ROYALS , HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY .
Who are you talking to?
