EGG CHILLI
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 25-30 minutes
Serving: 2
Ingredients
For Cooking Egg
6-8 whole Egg, अंडे
1 tsp Soy sauce, सोया सॉस
1 tsp Chilli sauce, चिली सॉस
2 tbsp Spring onion, chopped, प्याज़ पत्ता
1 tbsp Oil, तेल
For Sauce Mixture
1.5 tbsp Soy sauce, सोया सॉस
1 tbsp Green chilli sauce, ग्रीन चिली सॉस
1 tsp Vinegar, सिरका
1 tbsp Red chilli sauce, रेड चिली सॉस
½ tsp Sugar, चीनी
1/2 cup water
Other Ingredients For Egg Chilli
2 tbsp Oil, तेल
2-3 Red chilli, chopped, रेड चिली
1 inch Ginger, chopped, अदरक
1 cup medium Red & Green bell pepper, cube, रेड और ग्रीन बैल पेपर
1 medium Onion, cube, प्याज़
Prepared Egg cubes, तैयार किये हुए अंडे के क्यूब
Prepared sauce mixture, तैयार किये हुए सॉस का मिश्रण
Water, पानी
2 tbsp Cornstarch slurry, कॉर्न स्टार्च का लिजाम
2 whole Spring onion, cut into diagonally, प्याज़ पत्ता
1 tbsp Chilli oil or Sesame oil, चिल्ली ऑइल या तिल का तेल
For Garnish
Sesame seeds, तिल
Fresh Coriander leaves, धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Cooking Egg
In a bowl add eggs, soy sauce, chilli sauce, spring onion, oil and mix everything properly.
Grease the pan with oil, pour the egg mixture in the pan and cover it with another hot pan then cook it for 8-10 minutes or until the mixture is cooked completely.
Remove and let it cool down a bit, cut it into cubes and keep aside for future use.
For Sauce Mixture
In a bowl, add soy sauce, green chilli sauce, vinegar, red chilli sauce and sugar mix it well. Keep aside for future use.
Other Ingredients For Egg Chilli
Heat oil in a wok, add ginger, red chilli, onion and saute it well.
Add red and green bell peppers and toss everything well for a minute on high heat.
Now add prepared egg cubes and give it a toss.
Add sauce mixture, little water, cornstarch slurry and mix it well until thicken.
Add spring onion, chilli oil and give it a final toss and garnish it with sesame seeds, coriander leaves and serve hot.

Plastic is carcinogenic, never use it to cook or store hot food.
@Tech Garden I want to suggest you that don't use plastic or polybag but instead of that you can use a steel or a aluminium bowl 🥣 to put egg mixture into it and then put this bowl in another large bowl filled with boiling water...

This recipe was posted by many RUclips channels long back. I had watched videos in Malayalam and also tried those. Tuned out yum! The slight difference is the pan cooking. They had steamed. After steaming and cutting, they had fried it. Finally they added it to the sauce.

I am from Kolkata so i know its true. Infact there is area inside Tangra in Kolkata namely China town. If you want pure chiness cuisine you can visit there. And Ranveer sir your way of saying is superb and history you had for each and every recipe is just awesome. No chef says these details which you do might they didnt know about it that much.

I made egg kebabs 10-15 years back by mixing egg with spices and ginger garlic, microwaving them and cutting. Then grilled them like normal kebabs. Now I am feeling stolen.

@RanveerBrar Hi Raveer, I cooked similar one, but in curry when I was back in USA last year😊Nice to see a celebrity chef authorizing the dish😊...also there is another way I made the same is mashing boiled eggs and boiled potatoes together and making a dough and then slicing and frying them to give the texture..😊

Just loved it. A quick dinner prep. Only the egg takes a long time cooking but its worth the taste. Seriously felt I was eating chilli chicken. Thank you for this amazing recipe. I just added some tomato sauce to the mixture as it felt salty at first but then everything balanced out perfectly
