Chicken sushi will kill man. Raw chicken has a lot of salmonella bacteria. Its generally advised not to eat. Maybe he can invent sushis with indian fish that would be cool. And if he even cooks the chicken it would be chicken rice not sushi. Not sure if u were joking ahahahah

Watch chef hiroyaki terada make sushis on his channel, you'll be amazed on what ur missing in your life.

Sushi can be made out of any ingredient generally fish are preferred as historically sushi making was a way to preserve fish. I have eaten in Chef terada's restaurant in miami as well. If you think every meat in sushi is cooked except salmon you are actually completely wrong, there are hundreds of varieties most of them featuring raw or at most lightly seared seafood or beef, sometimes even raw beef. The reason chicken is not used in taditional sushi is of the same reason, you need to fully cook it to make it safe to eat, while the true essence of sushi is freshness. Chicken in sushi was kinda started in california where the sushi roll comes from. Thats why I said he could use indian fish and other indian ingredients as it would truly be a twist. If he wants to use cooked meat then he has to make the Americanised california roll, which is not even reakky sushi, nobody in japan eats those. Actually Salmon wasnt even an ingredient used in sushi in japan until relatively recently when a norwegian company started selling Atlantic salmon everywhere also in japan. Japanese immigrants in US and canada used it to make westernised variants, only a few of those are even known in japan. Even in japan salmon sushi is a very recent thing.
