Thanks Dr. Joe. You're the only one who made me understand how the rhomboid muscles cause pain under the shoulder blade, and gave great exercises and massage techniques to relieve it.
Are you able to fix the issue that I have or whatever I turn my neck to the right right from looking straight forward it cracks no matter what I can do. You can permanently fix it.
Well like they always say there's more than one way to skin a cat this good doctor's got good to follow. No I have to go search for them... thank you for the good visuals and good diagram on the skeleton.. StayWell. @@_JiminyCricket_
I bet you're the one that gave twenty different answers to the same question on the pop quiz after you failed it nineteen times right? Smart people know how to appreciate free help from an incredibly qualified and knowledgeable dude that owes you nothing.....and you mock....go back to Maturity 101 that your parents were supposed to help you with...and if you didn't have good parents then you still have no excuse since anyone over the age of thirteen can recognize that no one can see through your body to know exactly which part of where is causing the pain, so you have to experiment ..and oh....FYI...world class bodybuilders do the same thing, experimenting trying twenty different workouts until they find the ones that give them the results they want.....it's normal to have to experiment...kinda like dating....not sex...but dating....just trying to meet people to find the one right one that can love you for who you are and help nurture you into being more than just existing but maybe helping other people and being selfless like this guy teaching is....

Hello, thank you for the information. Should this be done on the side of shoulder/neck pain? Or Should it be done on both sides regardless of the side of the pain?
he did seem to demonstrate both shoulders...the right shoulder demo was the anterior view; the left shoulder demo was the posterior view. he also said to do this over a 10-week period, so it would seem to be a movement to do on each side
Are we doing this unilateral exercise on both sides ? 2 minutes each side ? Both come with their own issues and I don’t which side to do which exercise and how many reps or how to scale … overtime doing both … would this balance things out ??
I know I am not the doctor here, but in general with things like this you do want to do it on both sides to balance it out and keep your muscles stable. (A muscle imbalance can have a whole host of it's own issues that you definitely want to avoid if possible). You will want to start on your weaker side (have to determine what that will be for you) go to your limit there, then do the same amount on your stronger side to gradually get your body to be even throughout. I hope this helps, and remember consistency is key with also having a rest day here and there.
I remember seeing the first iPad at my friends house when I was a sophomore in high school and being blown away by it, even though I had an iPhone something about how big it was made it seem like magic lol
Thank You for this video. I just had neck/back surgery in April. My neurosurgeon has given me the a ok to start doing exercises and stretches. I've been to physical therapy, but didn't get to much on my neck. I have tightness in the middle of my shoulders, so I will try this and see what happens.
I had problems in my neck, shoulder and upper arm for years and no exercise that I saw on the internet helped until a friend recommended that I rub my biceps tendon with ice cubes twice a day for 2 weeks and all the pain was gone
I bro i can't even lay on my right shoulder without being in pain right now i don't know whats wrong with it i fell off my bed during a seizure and woke up in pain that was a month ago
For me, these symptoms were caused by degenerative disc disease in my neck. My physical therapist gave me several neck stretches to do and it worked right away.
Nothing works better than exercising, even if its just light moving your body. Sometimes we spend so much time sitting on our asses. Get up and walk, come on!
I've had 7 years of chronic shoulder pain and physios have given me this exercise before. Didn't do anything for my pain aside from aggravate it a little. There is no one exercise that will address all causes of neck pain and giving them to people without assessing their issue is irresponsible In the future please add a disclaimer that this advice is potentially harmful to people with shoulder pain that isn't caused by certain root causes
Love the visual aids - it helps me understand better ❤
using multicolor stretch bands as part of the viz aid on skeleton & stars to highlight scapula = genius !
Thank god for nurses like this!!
Thanks Dr. Joe. You're the only one who made me understand how the rhomboid muscles cause pain under the shoulder blade, and gave great exercises and massage techniques to relieve it.
Dr Mandel has some great exercises to
Thank you so much I've been suffering for over year
I’ll try this to help my neck pain, Thanks! 👍
I was having inner ear drainage problems until I started doing neck exercises.
Do you recommend do the exercise on both arms?
Of course.
omg thank you! nothing i do ever fixes my severe neck and shoulder pain for more than a few hours
So whats the update?
Doesn't this depend on what causes the pain? What to do when you have a Wiphlash?
I will be giving this a go
I get tech neck! Take regular breaks, reduce stress where possible and stay active!
Are you able to fix the issue that I have or whatever I turn my neck to the right right from looking straight forward it cracks no matter what I can do. You can permanently fix it.
Please POST A LINK to the Root cause quiz.
Does it have to be a band? Can we use a dumbbell?
Thanks. So much!!!😂❤😂
Can replace the bands with 2 small bottles fill with water for starting 😉
Bands provide resistance on the way up and the way down but I guess that's better than nothing 👍
So if my left side is bothering me I do the exercise on my right side?
What sides should you be doing the abductions on the side they're hurting or the other side?
What is the difference between the red and green bands?
Google says red has more resistance. So women have to do the harder one?
I'm confused.
Came to ask the same
That’s awesome. Do you have suggestions for military neck, text neck, or flat low back?
Stop texting when looking down. Fix your rhomboids and pelvic tilt. Reverse flys and glute bridges.
Hi Doctor, can you do a video or exercise for right leg short term and left? I really appreciate it.
Thank you so much
Oh my thanks doc.
I've seen this doctor give 20 different solutions for the same neck pain.
I’m unloading everything I know over here
Well, there is a bit more things involved in a neck pain, than in any machinery that you can fix in 3-5 ways.
Thinking this should be done on both sides? 🤔

This kind a problem is happening on my right side shoulder.so in which side I do the band stretching?
ascynowana tą wiedzą. Na szczęście jest tłumaczenie na język polski. Serdecznie dziękuję za wiedzę o tym, jak mogę sama sobie pomóc. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
Thank you for the awareness
What about neck tightness and shoulder tightness. I have a c1&c2 misalignment
Thank you Dr . On both sides or just the side that hurts or opposite side that hurts ?
I would do it both sides for a good balance wise.
Doing this before benchpresses will help shoulders as well.
Thanks for nick pain treatment
Thank you!
Where can I get those bands?
I’m going to try this out. Wondering are you supposed to do both sides or just the side that gets the knot?
You are supposed to do it just for 1 side?
Thank you so much 🎉❤
Both sides? Or the side you have pain on or the other?
This helped, thank you
Which side you did abduction ? Pain side or the other?
I don't have a band, is lateral raise with dumbbell work? Should I do both side in sametime or just one side on one set separately.
Hello, thank you for the information.
Should this be done on the side of shoulder/neck pain?
Or Should it be done on both sides regardless of the side of the pain?
Maybe both to not overwork one more than the other.

You definitely want to do both sides.
Dr Mandel has some wonderful solutions for this
Both
Thank you bro 🤝
what’s a similar exercise to this this that can be done with weights ? lateral raises?
Are we doing this unilateral exercise on both sides ? 2 minutes each side ? Both come with their own issues and I don’t which side to do which exercise and how many reps or how to scale … overtime doing both … would this balance things out ??

Is the arm/shoulder abduction past 90 deg? Looks like you're going to 110 deg
Thanks!!!!❤
will give it a shot!
I remember seeing the first iPad at my friends house when I was a sophomore in high school and being blown away by it, even though I had an iPhone something about how big it was made it seem like magic lol
Thanks 👍😊
What does it mean when your left rib hurts when it gets cold?
should it be done on the painful side? or for both?
My question too
Usually everything is done on both sides to avoid unequality
My problem is shoulder Blade any excerise for this

The bell sound drown out when he said the TOTAL ???
This is amazing. Thank you
It thought doing shoulder exercise is not allowed?
Where is the link to your bio?
I had problems in my neck, shoulder and upper arm for years and no exercise that I saw on the internet helped until a friend recommended that I rub my biceps tendon with ice cubes twice a day for 2 weeks and all the pain was gone
this guy is great
So wait, only do these on one side?
This kills my shoulders. Any idea why?
Only right shoulder?
Can we do the same exercise with weights?
Exercise bands give much more control over isolating the action and progression than free weights.
@dread-shinobi thank you for this explanation!
If u wanna target the traps u can just do shrugs instead slow controlled reps
Thank you
I bro i can't even lay on my right shoulder without being in pain right now i don't know whats wrong with it i fell off my bed during a seizure and woke up in pain that was a month ago
My C7 and T1 join is my problem
Brilliant
So...lateral raises. Thats hitting the side delts.
Hopefully this guy meets Brian thompson soon
For me, these symptoms were caused by degenerative disc disease in my neck. My physical therapist gave me several neck stretches to do and it worked right away.
Same
I was just diagnosed with that but I was given no exercises
Hi Tom, I have been facing the same problem from past 3 years. Could you please tell me the excersies
Lütfen Türkçe altyazı da eklermisiniz.
This work!!!!
Nice
My neck! My back!
never do asymmetrical muscle exercises because you will load the vertebrae unevenly
Sounds like a terrible idea to aim for quantity over quality reps
Damn you’re handsome
Merci
Je vais essayer
Do both sides fam 😂
❤❤❤❤
My wife had frozen shoulder, that wouldn’t allow her to lift her arm.
No ones talking about stretching the quads which will help the neck tension!!!!
Quads? Neck? What
💖🙏
Nothing works better than exercising, even if its just light moving your body. Sometimes we spend so much time sitting on our asses. Get up and walk, come on!
Elon . I RECOMMEND
What if my wife says no to everything?
Hello i could only do 7 Times
Or just 2 weeks of stop using electronic devices
Awesome. After I fold & make the bed in the every morning🗿

Light weight baby

you are using vibrator in wrong place
Доктор,сделайте пожалуйста русские субтитры
Je pense sincèrement que le tel portable va nous tuer
Cause des postures et aussi des ondes
You dont do anything wth resistance bands. You need to actually strengthen the muscles..
😮
Thanking him for what guys?!😂
What he said is useless
🤙✌️🖖
