No. As someone who got a bit too attached to the halo story growing up with conbat evolved. Reading all the "original" books (which doesnt say much since most were released way after ce but atleast they expanded on the story and were pretty darn interesting) i just dont like that idea. So i chose not to include it in the lore. Hoping infinite really does things right. The new reveal showed promise.

I love reach to death and I think the “slip space rupture detected” cutscene is hauntingly beautiful. Showing the true futility in the war against the covenant. You think you got a victory with a high price only for it to immediately be reversed. Hearing the military chatter while watching the massive amount of covenant ships appear and dots voice just repeating “slip space rupture detected” chills every damn time
I agree, Warden Eternal has some potential. In the description of the video I said I was not included Halo Wars, only Master Chief Collection and Halo 5. But Halo Wars 1 and 2 had some awesome stuff!

Unpopular opinion: Halo 4 and 5 did an excellent job taking the story direction to focusing on Chief as a character and exploring his machine-like humanity. Halo 1, 2, and 3 center around Chief and Cortana but more or less as vehicles of the narrative as it is more about humanity's overall struggle and facing extinction by the hands of the Covenant. With the Covenant destroyed and humanity becoming the "top dog" of the galaxy, 343 decided to center the story around Chief and Cortana which was really nice. It especially made the heartbreaking goodbye in Halo 4 so tragic and the betrayal in Halo 5 even more heartbreaking. I think they're biggest mistake with Halo 5 was poor marketing and the setting up of expectations. Which is why they probably kept most of their development decisions for Halo Infinite a secret until the reveal trailer. Also, making us fight the Warden a bajillion freaking times wasn't the best decision either.
That is a good assessment. I love them all, the old and the new. The old have an amazing story and nostalgic feel, but I agree that Halo 4 did an incredible job giving Chief more humanity as Cortana fell apart. Halo 5 had a good story but it was bogged down with all the extra stuff and bad marketing like you said. I really hope Infinite can get it right and wrap the story of Halo 4 & 5 up super well. Dude, of course Halo Reach is better than a lot of these but Reach was not included. I made this years ago, back when people actually read the descriptions of the videos - says only 1 through 5. No Reach or ODST. And yes, Halo 3 has a ton of amazing scenes, but I didn't let any one game dominate the list. If I did, it would have just been "Top 10 best scenes from Halo 3," which I am sure lots of other RUclipsrs have already done.
