    Honestly, my hat is off to anyone who can install car audio at this level. I've been installing my system for the last 6 months and my back is gone, my knuckles are raw and my arms are covered in little cuts. my frustration has been tested. I'm over audio installs. I will pay you next time

    Peter, the DAC in the M15 is better than that in the Ultra. It has TOTL 4499 in it. I would run analog to the Ultra.

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  2 года назад +3

      And as u can see they made possibility to connect that way too.
      The reality is that the cabin has so much effect on what we hear, that 95% of system can not even maintain a good spectral balance or have perfect staging, as most people have no clue about tuning, so i don’t get too fussed about the nuances of DACs, unless the system is truly capable of highlighting differences on that level.

    • @camshaft34
      @camshaft34 2 года назад +2

      @@pssound9749 I can understand the sensibility comment. However, the Ultra uses a AK 4456. I would wager ANYONE can hear that difference from a 4499. Bass impact and timbre, stage width and depth, resolution of images among the differences. All we are talking is the difference in which cable is run to the back.
      I’m not attacking you, just highlighting an area that I think is underutilized in achieving the best SQ.

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  2 года назад +1

      @@camshaft34 maybe what you don’t realise is that you can’t get around the DAC in the DSP. You always use that.

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  2 года назад

      Mosconi has great amps, we built few systems with them, can’t say anything bad.
      I have long history with Zapco amps and once you know what you can expect from them at the price point, then there is not really much why i’d want to try 10 different amp brands people would expect me to do.
      We get to work with many many brands supplied by clients and not much can wowww me compared to Zapco Z line amps. Of course there are better, but price is also way higher.
