The BIGGEST MALL In Brunei 🇧🇳

- So guys, last video of Brunei, I must say I am a bit disappointed as the views in this very interesting and exiting country are so low, but I cannot change it. I think that I make a pretty good job in making it more interesting to people but if it is not viewed the world will not see it. Anyway, before we left we also went to this very cool mall that is called "The Mall". It had a strange vibe in general, almost like straight out of a dystopian movie - not sure why do. But anyway, let's watch this all together.

Interesting tour in that big Mall....very modern and nice. Thanks for taking all of us along. Well, wish you all the best and hope that you will get more views when you travel to the next destination. Safe travels, Sir and family.
Thanks I hope too

It's really just that the King encourages people to start their own businesses here if it's up to our interests, hence why you've never heard some of those shops, cause they're local owned :)
Alright, that is a good thing
A humble and peaceful country..
True that
6:45 Can't help noticing that at the top of each signboard in the mall there's the store's name written in Jawi script. Jawi script (based on Arabic script) is the written form of Malay before the adoption of the Roman script. We don't see the same in Malaysia generally, except possibly in Kelantan state which is under an Islamist party for years.
Yes in the East Coast lots of that
kelantan, pahang & terengganu
It's little bit old fashioned Mal,the tile is only ceramics,in jakarta mostly Malls have Marble & granitile floor in all over the building.
I know what you mean by dystopian. I lived in the US for many years and I moved back to Malaysia a few years ago. It certainly feels different, it feels restricted, less optimism in the air. Religion takes center stage, all non Muslims are considered lesser people. Brunei is a extreme example, the Sultan imposed Sharia law on everyone except himself.
Yes very right, generally people in Asia are more compliant, not like in the west, you can tell by the vaccine percentage
Watching from Jeddah SAUDI ARABIA NICE ONE
Thanks mate
The foreigner you see in Brunei mostly not a tourist, they work as off shore engineer that why their dressing very casual, they usually bring their family together to Brunei. Brunei rich with oil
Yea probably
This is the kind of vidoe local and visitor need to know what going on in The Mall today Oct 2023

They have a Hot Wheels kiosk?!
That's awesome!
looks like it...
Wonderful video. Thank you.
Welcome
@@yvesthesleeve 😀
The food court is full of people.good business.have fun and leisure.
Yes indeed
Jolly Bee is actually in the US!! We have one in Pembroke Pines in South Florida! I’m curious, but I don’t eat fast food.
Interesting, I will probably try it once but I realize more and more how bad all of this food is health wise.
Worst fast food ever, sadly
They dont need so many malls. Or else it will be empty. They dont rely too much on tourism. Lesser malls , more nature is better
They don’t get tourism, so they cannot rely on it.
Wht fuck
this dude saw a shop named super fries and north korea came to his mind 🤨 11:50
Well, not only because of that...
It's stuck in the 90's. For your knowledge, most Asian malls had this type of deco and vibes in that time period.
Yes, just those vibes were very much stuck in the 90s indeed.
TBH it was opened in the early 2000s hence the 90's design
Small medium size mall.but very nice.enjoy your stay there.have a nice day man amigos.
Well, pretty big...
hello Mr Moonshine, may I ask where you and family will be heading to after Brunei?
After Brunei there will be Sabah
@@yvesthesleeveBeen to Kota Kinabalu few times and loves shopping there. You will have a fabulous time with your family as well 😍😍
This is not Big Mal,you should go to indonesia, especially jakata, there are so many Big Malls in all over the city, jakarta has more than 100 Malls in all over the city, you should go to jakarta...
I never said this is a big Mall, I have seen many much bigger Malls.
I agree that Brunei is the most peaceful and safe country in the world
Very much
Thanks for the video..safe journey to your next destination
thanks mate
Just because it's different does not mean it's dystopian.
Yes it does to me
The lobby ini this Mall is so narrow where the cars exhibitioned...
Vlog is super ❤❤ we like it❤❤
I am glad
What is the price of petrol (gasoline) in Brunei? It would be interesting to compare petrol prices as you travel through different countries.
That is actually true, I should check that.
Petrol is cheaper than bottled drinking water here in Brunei.
About a tenth of the price in Malaysia. They almost give it away.
@SilverfoxJB petrol in NZ costs over $NZ3.00 per litre !
@@RahA202 Yeah, pricy much like the UK
fyp Brunei Darussalam
Brunei lacks skyscrapers unlike Singapore.
The population Singapore million +. & Brunei 100 thousand +
Singaporean live in flats and apartment &. Brunejan in private house and private car park as many they want
@@norainibakar4672 Most buildings in Brunei are low instead of high and connected or attached right next to each other with street parking lacking a house lawn compound, a backyard, nor a garage as if running out of space in residential area. Its condominiums lack gym and swimming pool amenities.
Yes
Big difference
People in these countries live very different
Oh yes when you going to get drone vsry popular youtuber using vsry often 😅 btw you get to see this big mall like in kl ,johor and Singapore not sure about other place. I wish kuching got one too but not sure.
Come on now you mention get some donuts and French fries yum yum 😋
Yes I cannot afford a drone, but most serious vlogger don't use one.
THE MALL! FROM GADONG UWU TX FOR VISIT MAH COUNTRY!!Ñ
My pleasure
When you'll get a drone...
Probably not any time soon ...
I would be rich if I get $10 bucks for each 'weird' words he said lmfao
😂😂😂
You are almost 100k
Yes but now it is very slow
Amazing achievement regardless
You will get 100k soon. Just keep with family video. visit more places you get more. Goodluck Moonshine and your family bye bye now
Big food court
indeed
If u allow your teenage daughter to walk in streets of Brunei at midnight, u can well know she will be safe. Can she do it Paris.? Ans is NO ! So there u go .. at the end of the day , only results matter and the state of society tells u so much of wheather smth is done correctly
Yes true
Apples and Pears. BSB is practically deserted even in the daytime, with a population of 50,000. Paris has 11,250,000. And is a 24hr city, BSB is a ghost town with everything closed by 10pm.
@@SilverfoxJB Criminals love fewer potential witnesses but you won't think twice walking thru a quiet dark back alley at night here. That's how peaceful it is.
@@buj1387 I can do that in Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok
@@SilverfoxJB Really? Liucky you I guess. Why do you think there's police presence every few hundred feet at Bukit Bintang KL then? Never been to Bangkok so no comment. But we're not talking about KL or Bangkok but Paris v BSB. Crime happens due to poverty ie unfair distribution of wealth, lawlessness and disregards for human decency. Nothing to do with population size
where is Peter Parker ?
He just went to the toilet
Hello 🤗 family
You talk way tooooo much.
Hello
Cousin ku tu arah uni arcade ah
Well...
Very insulting comments...
Well, not that bad... It's okay
@@yvesthesleeve Don't worry. It's your opinion. You explained why you felt it was dystopian well. I'm sure most don't - even your kids seem to be having fun there. You just think too much about Sharia when we have always lived our lives like this. It's our culture, our attire and everything you see is as it is. We don't modify our lives just to cater to tourists or outsiders' perception like other countries that rely heavily on tourism (There's one neighbouring country that went as far as launching a "give tourists a smile" campaign once) thus you'll never know if they are sincere in their demeanour towards you
Kk has a lot of malls..about more than a dozen malls at the Kk cCBD...aboit 5 comparitavely big size malls n the rest are just medium size malls..Kk n Sabah has more foreign tourists...n has the largest tourist industry in the whole of Boreno Island...reasons...kk n Sabah has all package for touris to explore compare to the rest states in Borneo.
So what is your point comment like that in his Brunei video?
As usual Brunei always have that kind of attitude from neighbouring country
@@norainibakar4672 jgn bah marah marah liau atu...ako ckp pasal miatu...orang putih ani kan dtng ke Kk bah..ndak ada ako buruk buruknan negrara sendiri..Brunei bah..
Duly noted
Almost all of their videos that I watch do not take place in tourist destinations, but rather in areas that are rarely visited by visitors.
