I love your locs! You have parted each loc so neatly. It seemed like you were about to reveal how many locs you have. Did you and your daughter ever get that count of how many locs you have?
@@AJ-pc2gl Thank you so much! I tried my best with the parting, it's not as straight any longer, but it's all good! We did do a full count vid as well. I think it was right around 180.
Love how you put this video together I started my locs a month ago , and they are short like yours were in the beginning . It’s encouraging to see your growth !
You made me feel so much better about my locs because it’s almost been 4months for me and I feel like nothing is happening, this gave me reassurance ❤️
Thank you for sharing this video. I am going into 2 months of my loc journey & I am loving every phase of it. God willing, I too can't wait to celebrate my 1 year anniversary. Each hairstyle fit you & you worked it, girl. LOL. Your daughter is precious. Thank you again for sharing your journey..
Your locs look great. The visuals were super helpful seeing you loc and grow out your sides. I started my new set last month and my sides are too short to twist yet.
Thank you, so glad it was helpful! I really think maybe I should have left the back and sides alone to grow a bit and then twisted up, but it all worked out. Much love on your loc journey!
absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! thank you for sharing with us! I am so loving all of these jouneys. I've been natural since 2000 and wear braids and twists ous, but I'm rreeaaalllyy considering locs. I love them!!!!
New subscriber wow your hair grew so much within the time period. I started my in coils . I did a Mohawk cut and haven’t took it out yet lol . I guess I’m not for certain if I’m going to take it out we will see where this goes .
I just reached my 1 year 4/30/20. I 😍 my babies!!! Anybody know why I still have frizz on locs after 1 year??? I always wrap the frizz around the loc but goodness it's so much.
Congrat's on your 1 year! I'm not sure about why you have the frizz, but I say embrace it! I love frizz and I don't twist my locs down to the end, so I can keep them frizzy!
Thanks. I did my locs 6 months ago. I need advice on whether to twist or Rob my locs. Also, what natural product would you recommend I use to give it body and gloss. Help me out please I do not want to undo my loc at all. I love my hair. Regards
Hi! Do you mean twist or roll? As is palm roll? If so, I like chose to twist and nit palm roll, because I want to keep my locs thickness. I also like the non uniform look I have by just twisting the roots. For body, I recommend curling your locs. I use rags for rag curls mostly and oh the body! My locs bounce and move like loose hair. For gloss, I use coconut oil. I don't use it everyday, but sparingly. I have videos on twisting vs palm rolling and also rag curls, check them out for more info. Hope this helps and much love!
I’m not going to talk too much! *Proceeds to talk the entire video* lol I’m literally the same way 😂 your locs look amazing at the 1+ year mark. I’m hoping mine will look similar. Great journey
Hi there! I didn't do anything in paticular. I just washed my whole head often, retwisted when needed and used a little coconut oil and/or essential oils on my hair as needed. I only use oils on my scalp for a massage, not regularly either. It grew in nicely like that with little manipulation.
Hello! I attribute my growth to leaving my hair alone for the most part. In the first year, I washed regularly and that was pretty much it. Just let my locs do their thing. :)
Hello! I'm not sure. To me they are kind of frizzy, but some would say they are not. I guess it's all relative. I do not retwist or use product down the length of my hair, because I want to retain some frizz and the "big hair" look. I love big wild hair!
Much Love Everyone!💚
Hello gotta ask do you love the choice you pick on becoming a dread head

I’ve been told it could be due to your curl type. Looser curls sometimes have a bit more frizz than tighter curls
I might try it. Thank you.
Wonderful!

Your hair is Amazing
Thank you so much, I appreciate it!
Great video' want to know if you still just use water for retwisting? Also how often do you retwist? Thanks in advance
Thank you! I started using aloe gel or sea moss gel for retwist. I retwist about every 2-3 months.
You’re Beautiful !!
Thank you so much!
How did you get the nape of your hair to grow back the nape is a huge struggle for me any tips to help me out thanks for the video

Can you give a tutorial on how you retwist
Hello! I have a couple of retwist videos posted, but I'm working on a more detailed video. Should be up soon!
Hey I plan on starting my Page for my Locs any ideas ?
Hello! Congrats on starting your page! I recommend documenting everything every step of the way. Much love!
How did you get your locs to grow so fast?
Hello! I attribute my growth to leaving my hair alone for the most part. In the first year, I washed regularly and that was pretty much it. Just let my locs do their thing. :)
omg I like BT21 merch too!!! Is she a BTS fan??

hi, are your dreads still frizzy?

How many locs do you have?
Hi! I have about 180. 183, 185, something like that, lol! I forget the exact number, but I do have a loc count video as well.
I wish I went smaller. 🙄
How far in are you? Sometimes they swell and then shrink down to the size they will be once matured.
And also I can tell your a great mother ❤️
