Garmin nuvi 56LMT and other TA20 only models

If getting a nuvi 55LMT, 56LMT, 57LMT, 58LMT, 65LMT, 66LMT, 67LMT or 68LMT, the traffic only works on these with a TA10 or TA20 cord

Great video but I have a question. With the drivesmart series, is the traffic antenna built into the gps or is it using the cable as an antenna? The GTM cable has the antenna on the cable "I guess", so they recommend stretching the cable across the dash for best receptions. Do I need to do that with the TA cable?

No. The TA20 is for models with a built-in traffic receiver.
