The distilled water is because it’s stripped of all the minerals that would cause build up or corrosion of certain metals. Same reason they like you to use distilled water in breathing machines and humidifiers. If not it would have crazy build up and the machines would fail. It makes the system last longer.
@@RaceRebuildRepeatit's an NA thing at elevation. They lose so much more power than a turbo does. Pro R is not the right rig at St Anthony unless you turbo it.
Frank ripping that gap, and then turning around the “step on step off” to a brake hump seat bounce is too tier moto head. Dude sees the line and sends it🤝🫡

Going to St A next week, so pumped! Road at little sahara, Utah today and had a blast but still I was wishing I was at St A. Also, you need to ride with someone who knows those big bowls on the way back from devils like that back of their hand... I could show you the craziest transitions you'll ever ride in your life.
Everyone should have a bag of 10mm sockets and wrenches, always. I can not believe how many times I have lost them or given them away and been glad I had extras because things I learned while young and dumb. It is not like rule #1 or something, just seem universal.
Boiling point elevation occurs when there are dissolved minerals in the water. Distilled water usually has some of the mineral impurities removed and so you would expect it to boil at exactly 100 degrees C
It’s hard to stay in the middle of the dunes because the transitions seem to push you to either side of the dunes. But if you can find a good line that keeps you in the middle, it’s insane.
Chokecherry has changing sand conditions. Good tractive sand in the lower half then it gets super soft and silty near the top. My turbo talon makes it up Chokecherry. Granted it was good sand conditions. But I think the pro r problem is weight and maybe those ss360s.
Distilled water actually boils at a LOWER temperature than 'contaminated' water although you'd have to be using very 'contaminated' water(salt water for example) to even measure the difference.
Dang, Ryan is such a good dude!!! People have to remember choke cherry is super high in elevation all NA vehicles suffer from it, that's why everybody uses turbos having less power loss by compensating for the thinner air. If chokecherry was at 2000 or minus elevation, Ryan would have walked up it..! Good job Frankie your motocross skills are insane! Leo don't even think about getting rid of your 22 for a 25 pro are lol only difference is our cosmetic lol plus how do you feel that Polaris copied your Tron theme into production ....You crazy influencer!
If going as fast as your rig or your sphincter will alow is your thing st. Ants is the best. Big dunes, big jumps. Just be careful for the drop off's. I've seen a lot of bad wrecks there where it looks like a nice smooth top of a hill but really there was 40+ foot drop off on the other side. Glamis is cool but it's not St. Ants cool.

Choke Cherry used to be significantly steeper but after a few billion paddles threw the sand to the bottom it's not nearly the challenge it used to be.

100 percent doesn't rust or corrode internals of a cooling system
Reason why it’s also used in electric vehicles- example; forklifts
It's not distilled water that's used in electronics, it Deionized water because it has no iron in it and is non conductive
I learned real quick when I put tap water in my Husky and it ate a hole from the water pump into the motor. Always use distilled.

Distilled water will super heat up to 300f+ without boiling. The problem is if it gets hot and impurities get added it explodes. No Joke!
St. Anthony Dunes are pretty awesome! I can’t wait to get back there.

I think distilled water has much lower mineral content. Higher mineral content water would eventually gum up the inside of the radiator over time.
The distilled water boiling point debacle was 100!

Yep! Had this happen a few times.
It is cool to see dunes that are steep and hard to climb
Right! Completely unexpected
Water is water but If you add a higher pressure radiator cap, then you can change the boiling point :)
I stay at little Sahara in Utah for a reason seen to many bad wrecks in Idaho! Fun dunes for sure!
Hopefully someday you guys can run a hill as steep and as big as the Devils log slide in Grand Marais.. DNR won't let machines on that one..

Impurities can raise or lower the boiling point and conductivity of water. Salt, magnesium, and calcium raise the boil. Chlorine lowers the boil.
Comparing St Anthony to Glamis, I haven’t been to either, but one is in Idaho and one is in California.. I think I know where I’d rather go
Booth areas are red trust me on that 🎉🎉
Paddle would make jumping about 100x easier. Good sends, but would be a lot easier on your bike with a paddle.
