This is an excellent review and test. The suspension really go a workout at the beautiful location. The location has some great crawling areas. The camera shots on the rocks at sunset were great.
This looks awesome but I love the older body styles and would be pretty excited if FMS ever came out with a Bull Nose Ford for this platform to go alongside the square body Chevy.
that thing looks awesome. really like how they put the battery under the hood. the hummer body looks alright, but IMO the square body chevy is just classic. currently i am debating between the FMS 1/18 Land Cruiser & 1/24 Smasher. Its hard to choose between them. Are there any noticeable differences between this new H2, the Chevys or Land Cruiser models? The one I am looking at is v2 and claims to be waterproof but idk. Thanks for the review it makes me want one even more haha.

The body looks better than I had imagined. It looks like FMS took the Element Utron body and actually put some time and effort into it. I know they are completely different vehicles and the FMS being a hardbody is capable of more detail, but I really liked the utrons performance but that body was a 👎. I've had to stop buying RCs for a bit, lol. I have a few that need some rebuilding... anyhow... good stuff as always, sir!
I have a 1/10 scale Utron. Running in just flat Terrain in my back yard, stripped front Axel, 60 Bucks to fix, Like the body but quality in the Gears is Lacking. Think I will sell it. As New only ran it Twice.

That controller and rx/esc are set up for rear steer, so if you get an extra front axle and servo, you can pretty easily make it four wheel steer.
Agreed, too bad they didn't have that right out of the box. A missed opportunity for sure 😅
