I love the videos that you share and have subscribed (early subscriber) and shared your site to a few others. Fantastic coverage around the GTA and this wonderful trip is amazing. The only tip I would like to offer is more care on fixing a divot. I have been a member of two golf clubs (one private and one semi-private) in my life and learned how important it is to fix things up as best you can after a shot....the grass will heal quicker and others can also enjoy a better experience. I have always been mad when I see a big divot with the remains 10 metres in front of the shot from others and not fixed. I often go and try and fix that and always my own.

See below....apparently the caddies look after this. I have never used a caddie so I did not know the process.

Yes, i totally agree with replacing divots. Caddies are mandatory on Thailand golf courses and they do carry the sand with them to fill in divots and take away the grass chunks instead of placing them back in the divots.
It is very different, in Canada we don't play with caddies lol
Thank you for the continuous support!

the course was beautiful and your score was good, I think your game is getting better it might be your course management, but that's great.

Next season, drive a bit further and play Port Hope Golf Club, right on Lake Ontario. Totally worth the drive. This course looks very nice, but similar to a lot of courses in Florida.

I thought that too, reminds me of Florida for sure! I'll keep Port Hope in mind for next season

Thanks, Shan, great video. You mention "transportation service" from downtown to Suwan CC. can you please elaborate? I like to play this course later in the summer.

We booked a ride service from the hotel and negotiated the price to 2200 Thai baht round trip (for 2 people). It's expensive...
We couldn't get a taxi to drive us, but other people seem to have no issue with it. If you are by yourself with 1 golf bag, taxi or grab might not be an issue. That will be the cheapest option. They may ask you to pay for toll routes separate from fare price.
Try getting ready earlier and see if you can get a taxi ☺️good luck!

Hi Shan, I'm from Malaysia. I used to play golf in Thailand and love them. We usually prebooked a package of 5 days 4 nights with 3 rounds of golf included. They provides hotel stay + breakfasts, pick up from airport and back and to the courses. The package cost around RM 2500. Airfare is separate. Have you played in Chiangmai? I love Chiangmai. The courses in Chiangmai are so beautiful and clean. The fairways, I mean...

Wow cool! I have not played golf in Chiang mai. Would love to! One of these days I'll go around to all the golf regions of Thailand 😂

Usually when i reach for the divot, the caddies will stop me because they have the sand. The caddies are super nice!

In Cambodia and Thailand (I haven't played anywhere else in Asia) the caddie will replace the divot with pure sand, not a sand-seed mixture. Contrary what the USGA believes this is the best way to heal turf. Divots are not put back.
