I proposed to my fiance after 3 years of dating while I was pregnant with our daughter. And he desided a wedding date/year. Which is in 2 months. We’ve been together 5 years now. We talk about desitions and make them together. Our girl was planned together and not ”suprise”. I Wanted to watch this video because i’m curious what you have to say. But i dont see proposing a guy as bad thing if you both can see each others value and future together.
In western world it’s been determined that a man is the one in charge of those things but since you’ve done it already don’t feel bad about it and good luck to you! If you’re both in love with each other then it doesn’t really matter who proposed. Once again good luck!
Thanks for this post, I was checking the comments and was really sad to find so many positive comments without any critical points about this video. It's saddening to me, that Nika wasn't able to step back a bit to check why she needs the man to be the 'leader'. I would not feel 'safer' in a relationship just because he asked. Yes, I thought this as well a while back, but honestly none of it really makes a man actually choose you. He is doing what is expected, and you as in the woman need to stay in a situation in which you feel easily not valued, because he is not making one of these grand gestures. That actually would make me feel insecure as hell! Why can't we do things as an actual equal teammember?
He is not protective of me,I feel unsafe most of the time( no masculine energy),sometimes I feel like he doesn't love me. He thinks he is a liberal and will go and sleep when I am out,doesn't check on me or doesn't share where or what he is doing because he is freaking liberal
