- Taro Sakamoto is literally the guy to which the series (Sakamoto Days) is named after, so he's pretty strong. However, with characters like Gaku, Nagumo, Takamura and Uzuki entering into the mix, trying to figure out how strong Sakamoto really is can get a little tough. So, today I figured that we give Sakamoto a rating in 5 key categories to empirically figure out how strong he truly is.

I would want to see nagumo/shishiba since now they have some decent feats to use as scaling, or shin if you think that nagumo and shishiba's scaling is still too ambigious.
I think gaku has shown him self, in many situations enough to the point to show why his strength would be this or that, or maybe shin
Not gonna lie, he was the only one scrapping with Takamura, and he kicked him through a wall and through the ceiling. Taro currently is top 3

Nagumo is a master of disguise and not only can shapeshift himself but others. No one in the series notices his disguise, don’t think it makes sakamoto have a lower iq because of it. (Nagumo also disguised himself as someone’s own reflection and they ain’t notice).

Isn't there a montage of him going through a series traps laid by an assassin trying to kill him in a spa, like withstanding 10000 tonnes of water pressure, and surviving very high heat etc.? Do you believe those are just gags?
Yea that chapter is a bit odd, but I think most of the stuff he withstands are within reason for the series. He goes through a jet bath with enough force to total a semi-truck, which is about on par for the series, so I think it's consistent.

also do you think that the third person on the last page of recent chapter is gaku? id say yes because, i mean it doesnt look like anyone else, introducing gozu and tenkyu separately would be stupid, besides the design looks alot like gakus so making another character with the similar design would be stupid too.

Hold up who do you think would win gaku vs sakamoto(166-167) I'm asking this since for someone as youbg as gaku being 22 he can pretty much go toe to toe with a prime nagumo and back then when the trio was young they aren't strong enough to 1v1 kindaka.
Id give it to Sakamoto but at really high-extreme diff.

It’s probably because Takamura isn’t suited to being a normal assassin. All of his attacks cause crazy amounts of damage, which isn’t the best if your goal is to secretly kill someone
im not sure it is about strength. sakamoto had alot of reupuation that takamura didnt have because he doesnt really do missions like that. dont get me wrong prime sakamoto might be top.1 but his goat title isnt just about strength
Being the greatest or the best (as it was stated in the manga) doesn t necessary mean tha you re the the strongest, we re talking about how well you re excecuting your mission and how remarkable your achievement in that particular field, when it comes to Takamura think of it this way......"no one survive to tell the tail about him", my theory is that Takamura kills his targets and leaves zero evidence behind him, Slur said that Gaku is probably the first person to survive an encounter with him

Takamura might be the strongest, but Sakamoto is more skilled, versatile, and can use literally anything as a weapon.
Its a master chief situation in which he isn't the biggest, strongest, or fastest spartan but he knows how to deal with his cards.
I wonder if he now will get stronger, like with the bloodlust, because he was unable to keep his family out of the conflict. I think the guilt should make him stronger.
Yea I think that coupled with him staying in his skinny form might mark the return of the legendary assassin for real, even if it’s temporary
Sakamoto in current period is weaker than his teen JAA student period.
