Mate, what a bloody ride. I still can't believe you pulled it off. From bleached haired shed dweller to Praga Cup Champion. You know, us sim racers love what we do, and alot of us dreamt of being in a real race car. Alot of that comes from the times we spent with family i think, watching racing together when we were kids. To watch you get the opportunity to do it for real has been a real pleasure. Not an ounce of jealousy or envy, but a massive amount of pride from me, a random bearded person on the internet. Hi Jimmer. I've been watching your stuff for a few years now and I've enjoyed it greatly. Your enthusiasm for your passion is infectious, and people can sense it easily through your videos. Even for folks who don't watch racing, you're an entertaining host. I've never commented before, but I wanted to take a moment to share how much watching your transformation from sim racer to racing driver has inspired me. It's not every day that you get to watch, bit by bit, as someone makes their dreams come true before your eyes. You have a complete visual record of your ascension from shed-dweller to a championship-winning racing driver. This is no mean feat. In fact, it was a very brave thing: you not only fought hard through trials of all kinds to achieve your goals, *you placed the record of your struggle online for all to see.* All your mistakes, your flubs and your punts, your family troubles, all the obstacles were shared with us, your viewers. That kind of vulnerability is testament to your character. All this is to say: you inspire people. I wonder if you understand how much. Your journey is just beginning, and I'm grateful that I've witnessed a portion of it. Keep going. We're with you.
I don't remember which race it was, but one day I stumbled upon some guy in a shed doing 100% races in F1 2017. I didn't care so much about the racing, but the personality of this guy had my attention and I was immediately hooked. I can't believe it's been over 5 years. You really are an inspiration. I'm so proud of you and it's been a pleasure watching you grow and achieving your dreams! Thank YOU for sharing your journey with all of us!
Who could have thought years ago when I started watching Jimmy that this day would come. Just amazing what he's achieved coming from a tiny shed in the garden. Congrats, Jimmy. You deserve all the success you can achieve.
Jimmer, what a carrer! From a shed dwelling sim racer, plowing the fastest cars in Assetto Corsa, punting Lando off the track, joining Praga, and claiming that your are not just a sim racer, you are a Praga Cup 2022 CHAMPION, I have watched you since 2020. And Now, two years later, to see you on the top, we have come so far, in such a little time. But now is not to rest, it's to go beyond... It's hammertime.
This had been the best life of a driver documentary ever. congratulations Jimmy. I quite enjoyed watching the last 2yrs. You should put this on the big screen.
Stop saying "for a sim racer". You are a racing driver. And a champion. Stop making excuses for feeling like you don't deserve shit that you've earned.
These guys drove a crab across the line in 1st to win a championship. Absolutely amazing! And to think, I wouldn't even know who this Broadbent guy is if we didn't share a love for being desktop racers. I always felt that a racer is a racer, and if you're good driving through code, you're good driving full stop. Jimmy has proved as much in 2 years of racing. I can't imagine how much you've heard it up to this point, but I'll say it again for all of us. We're so proud of you, shed boi! You're a champion!!! I thought seeing you on a sports broadcast in the US, racing against F1 drivers during the pandemic in the virtual world, was really something. Someone I really want to see succeed is rubbing shoulders with the celebrities of the sport. Well, now you hold a title that many of those drivers have yet to accomplish in any form of racing. Meditate on that. You deserve it. I can't wait to see where your journey takes you next, Jim. And congrats once again!
Dude you are a fucking champion! You deserve it and I hope you can achieve even more in the world of racing. There is a whole community that loves you and you are such a kind hearted, nice person, man you are a role model. I wish I could hug you, huge fan of you for just 2 years now and I already see you as one of my favorites on RUclips.
I feel like if you went back a few years and told Jimmy when he was starting out that by 2022 he'd have met Richard Hammond, James May, Ben Collins, became a racing driver, and ultimately a championship winning racing driver, he probably would've said you were mad. But look at ya Jimmer. You've done it. I've wanted to do racing ever since I was little, and seeing your success has allowed me to sort of live out that dream vicariously through you. Congratulations Jimmy, you bloody well earned it.
OMG, YOUR THE CHAMPIONS!! Absolutely amazing for both of Jimmy, when you win it feels like we all have won. Thank you for giving that to us followers . Great job!
ik i’m late but i got into sim racing back in january, and i just wanna say to you jim, thank you for proving to the world that we can accomplish anything with a little bit of effort. i’ve wanted to be an lmp driver ever since last year and never thought i’d be able to pull it off since i’m 17 and never touched a racing wheel up until recently. thank you so much jimmy and congratulations on your championship win!

So proud of you Jimmer and Gordy! A well deserved title for you both, stoked you're getting to live your dream mate!
I am so so proud of you Jimmer! Fully deserved 🎉🔥
Who could have thought years ago when I started watching Jimmy that this day would come. Just amazing what he's achieved coming from a tiny shed in the garden. Congrats, Jimmy. You deserve all the success you can achieve.
a real tear jerker. tears of joy for our brother. ye deserve it jimmer
Big congratulations to Goldie for carrying Gordie and Jimmy to a well deserved championship. Couldn't have done it without you.
Thanks for taking us with you to the journey, it's been a pleasure to see you race on the sim and on the track! You did it!
NEVA GIVE UP!!!
i was hoping to see jimmy's raw emotions as he got out of the car when they clinched. i love his reactions to winning
From a sim racer to a championship winning racing driver
this has been an insane journey, and it's no where near the end
Ben "The Stig" Collins shouting "I'll beat you next time, Broadbent" from the car window as they drive off is hilarious!
Well that was bloody emotional. Cheers, crying now. Love you Jimmy. You're part of the inspiration that my life needed.
Found your channel looking for good sim racing gear. Yet to buy the gear but still watch your channel years later! So cool to see you come all this way and see you live two identities simultaneously - a sim racer and a championship winning race car driver. Congrats man!
Hey Jimmy! So excited for you and proud of you my dude! Been watching your channel and streams for many years now, since 70k subscribers or so, and for real your content has helped me get through some tough times, and huge transitions and moments in my life. Your own journey with mental health has mirrored mine in many ways, and seeing you find success in your own unique path has truly inspired me. Thanks a ton mate, congrat, and no punterino!
I can't tell you how proud I am with you Jimmy! Congratulations from the bottom of my heart, you were my favourite sim racer and now you are my favourite part time sim racer, part timr champion!
You've come so far Jimmy, you're such a persistent man who's achieved a life and career all of us in the comment section have only dreamed of. Congratulations!
The fact that you went from sim racing to this is crazy so well done to you and the team. The championship was well deserved.
It's been a absolute pleasure discovering your channel in lock down and seeing how far you've come in just 2 years. Back yourself all the way, you've got something special mate
Jimmer, I'm late so I know you won't see this, but I want it to be here.
I frickin love you man. You've come so far on your journey. I want you to know your Grandad will be happy for you up there in heaven. Your story is a reason for my belief. You've come so far, it's like a miracle you've worked hard for. And with God's help, you've found it. I couldn't be more happier for you.
I lovd you Jimmy
Been an incredible journey to follow, when I first watched you're channel years back I never thought you'd be doing this.. let alone champion!
Congratulations to you and Gordie on the championship! Look forward to seeing where the journey take you next.
So proud of you Jimmy, amazing to see how far you've come in the five years that I've been subscribed. Here's to more success next year!
Absolute fucking legend. It's been amazing watching you evolve throughout the years. From watching you play in your shed to winning a championship in real life, it's amazing what's possible if you put your mind to it. People say it alot, and it sounds super corny, but never give up. We're right beside you all the way, jimmer.
Congratulations Jimmy & Gordie and to the whole team as well ! That's an amazing accomplishment ! After watching your videos and streams for years now as well as your progress in real life motorsport, this is a thrill to see you leaving your dream at a 100%. Cheers man !
I am so happy to have the chance of experiencing your journey from Sim racing into the live motorsport world. I'm incredibly proud of what you have achieved as are more than 800k other people here.
Can't wait to see what's still to come.
Lesson would be you succeed from the opportunities you take...
Or nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity...
Glad you took the first step and two years later can feel the success.
You're an inspiration Jimmer 👌
Brilliant move by Praga to put you behind the wheels for two reasons - you bad a bigger audience than most of the race drivers so you gave the series a real boost of viewership and of course - YOU ARE A DARN GOOD DRIVER, Jimmy!
Well done Jimmy! It's been awesome to follow your Praga journey over the past 2 years, watching the massive improvements from both you and Gordie has been brilliant. Up the 87!
This has to be one of the most inspirational videos I’ve ever watched. Going from living in a shed to becoming a championship racing driver really does show if you put in the work you can achieve your dreams. One day I’ll get into a real race car
Well done again Jimmy and gordie, I was watching when you won your first race in the praga, and I was watching when you won your first title, never have i been happier for a complete stranger,
Congratulations, Jimmer! Your story is a real inspiration. From a shed to a championship...couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. You earned it, I hope you enjoy every second!
Amazing video, amazing edit, amazing vibes all the way through. The time flew by. Really well done.
"The pain of discipline is always better than the pain of regret"
is the phrase I think you were searching for.
Well done mate so proud \m/

This is such an unbelievable dream/journey, i can imagine it taking a while to sink in. Enjoy every second of it, you deserve this, you made this all happen, not luck or whatever, YOU did. Gratz Champ. GG ;)
Congrabulaions on your achievements Jimmy. You are an inspiration to all us sim racers who wish we could be on track with you.
Top job scholar ☝️👏🥰
Word of advice from an old hat.
Nothing is ever as bad as we make out in our heads! We can think ourselves out of life giving in to fear. Good luck in the future matey!
I'm one of your more recent fans, but I'm glad I was here to witness the beginning of your Praga journey. I'm overjoyed for you, and it proves that life can really go your way sometimes if you push it.
I'd also like to point out that the editing for this Praga series has been incredible, so thank your editor for such expert story telling skills.
