30 years of mining and I have some serious questions. And whoever told you that one second rule... I have questions for them too.
It’s one second per foot depending on the material. There are people who use equipment because they know it works. There are also people who use equipment because they know why it works.
@@RemOutdoors That is a far cry from the abbreviated version said in the video. But it still doesn't hold true. Ask anyone who beach mines if the material takes one second to travel one foot.
I consider myself both. I know what works in which situation for a certain size and shape range of gold. I also know enough about physics, chemistry, geology and hydrodynamics to know why a particular system works.
I am interested to see what you have come up with but I can tell you that I have seen countless "less cons, gets all the gold" attempts. But if you look at commercial mines, the only thing they worry about is getting the gold. They have realized that there is no such thing as "almost no cons, gets all the gold". They just invest in a way to remove gold from the cons. It makes sense that the process of concentrating rawmaterial down and removing gold from the heavy cons will not ever be accomplished by the same device by the very nature of the problem. I can also tell you from first hand experience that you will increase your recovery the most with the least amount of effort by offering the gold as many different types of traps on its way down your box as you can. Also, commercially made sluices are often shortened to make shipping more reasonable. Increase the length (check local laws) = increased cons = increased gold in your pocket.

Oh, sorry my guy it does not. I was told not to reveal it at the moment I did that video but now I can. So I’m going to do the cleanup of what Aaron and I got at the garage and I will use that as to clean up loose and I will reveal it there.

@@RemOutdoors anything that can compete with the dream mat has my attention, the areas i work has a lot of hematite and lead and soon fills the dream mat cells.
