Whoever said you can't dynamically link to GPL code under a different license is incorrect.

Dynamic linking does not absolve you. Still considered derived.
You need LGPL for.that. so avoid GPL linking like the plague in corporate software.

@@aitorbleda8267 libc is under GPL. If that worked like you say, any software that runs on linux would be in violation.
