I just can't explain how much you inspire me, just watching you express your feelings makes me realize that it's okay for me to breakdown and cry when everything is falling apart and that doesn't mean that i am weak! I relate SO MUCH to what you’re saying! I’ve grown so much in the last like 3-6 months and I’ve learned so much about myself and I feel like I’m mentally a different person but physically I’m still living at home and it’s hard feeling like I’m a new person but being stuck in the same place physically and not being able to fully embrace my new mindset.
i feel the same with the whole moving out dilemma, having to decide between getting ur own space or being able to affordably travel/live life!! ur not alone there ❤️
Totally can relate to the moving out part. I used to feel kinda guilty for wanting to move out from my parents house, but it's not like I don't love them, it just feels hard to grow and move forward when you've been living in the same place for so long. It took me more than one year after getting my first professional job to save up money to rent a house nearer to my workplace (city centre, higher rent). It's just a small studio but I get to decorate it however I want and live my best life. It's one of the best decision I made. So I've been where you are and now I live in my dream studio. It takes time and I *know* you will get there too. Praying and manifesting all good things for you

REESE!!!! I COMPLETELY GET YOUUU!!! This is now my 3rd semester of college at home bc of the pandemic. And it is just so restricting. I feel like by not seeing anyone, I have been forced to focus on myself and work on myself and there are so many parts of me that have grown, so I want to go into the world and show those off. And it's hard when I feel like I have matured so much, but then I am forced to do chores and be parented just because I am living with my mom. Don't get me wrong, I love my mom. And I am glad we can be home and safe together. But I also just want to feel like an adult and a college student and live by my standards. But my soul just wants to be on campus and living for me and around thousands of people my age. It's also frustrating when I have those few moments where I need to have "professional" conversations like zoom calls with faculty, professors, or talking in class and I notice my social anxiety acting up. Going to college on campus has helped sooooo much with me overcoming social anxiety and actually having confidence when speaking to people and I am sooo proud of that. It makes me excited to see how much I have been able to grow from being at school. And then when I am approached now with situations of needing to speak to strangers or faculty, I feel myself retracting and it is super frustrating. So I completely get you, I want to be back to normal life so I can practice my conversational skills because they are getting worse and worse the longer we are in quarantine, and so I can show the world the other ways I have grown, and to just grow some more. I can't wait to physically be around people my own age and have that be part of regular life as opposed to a special outing that I need to plan. (Also totally get you because these kinds of thoughts tend to get triggered for me too when it's that time of the month)(Also I'm so sorry with how long this was!! If you actually got to the end of this comment, you're a trooper! Love you and thank you for teaching me how to make banana ice cream!)

i COMPLETELY relate w/ ur lil melt down moment ab feeling stuck!!! i also feel like its especially hard when (at least for me) i see my friends moving out and away and living their lives the way i was DYING to for like 3 years and i'm still stuck here... "these are the days that must happen to you"-- i've been saying that a lot recently, stay strong!!
It makes me happy watching these now seeing how you’ve moved out and gone to Europe and are achieving your goals
Also, seeing you get emotional gets me in my feels too, we are so incredibly proud of you Reese for evolving and growing and finding yourself as a young adult. Good thing this video got posted today because I have been feeling the same way. After dropping out of college I feel like I am stuck. Everyday is starting to be the same and I hate it. I want to go out and start living my life, but how can I do that when my parents expect me to stay home and do chores and we are still in a pandemic. Mentally I am not in a good place rn but don’t worry I always look on the bright side of things so I will be okay :)

I definitely feel like we are in the same exact place, I just graduated college and I had to move back home because I can’t find a job and it is HARD.
I love it when I wake up to your videos. My parents are renting an airbnb for a month in the mountains. They have been gone for about two weeks and I feel SO GOOD alone in my house cooking for myself and just doing things at my pace. I'm not sure how im gonna deal when they get back, I understand the feeling of wanting to move out but I tell myself to just do the next right thing (like in Frozen II)

I seriously can relate to you Reese 😭 I have the same feeling for a long time and finally someone who can understand!!! I just wanted to grow and do a lot of things but I can't. I always stay at home like you and it's frustrating because I feel so stuck. It's really not good for our mental health. I feel trapped too, also having indian parents can be a reason as well. I want to travel and live alone but my parents care about me too much and they just dont let me live life the way I want.
I am graduating next year and I have told them what I want. I told them that I want to live alone. They were angry and called me a brat who dont love the family. But I think I will keep on moving and wont let others stop me from doing what I want.
