    Hi Daniel. I'm a Ruby Developer from Ukraine and I want to tell that, for ex, in Ruby course from The Odin Project there are a lot of data structure topics starting from basics up to binary balanced trees. So for me as a Ruby developer this platform is the No1 for now. I haven't met any better since I've came back in IT in 2022.

    I love The Odin Project!! I really appreciate the little things like when I click a hyperlink that leads to a RUclips video, it redirects me to a specific timestamp to make sure that mo time is wasted. I wish such a project also exists for Software Engineering

    Lovely review!
    I did want to say something regarding the absence of Data Structures and Algorithm content. While not present in the Foundations course, lessons on that material do appear in other courses offered by The Odin Project. And all of those courses are free as well 🎉

      I don’t have any problem with the absence of dsa on odin as the course is about full stack development. If anyone wants to learn this topic, they could pick up a course or book that is dedicated to dsa

    Hi daniel, im someone whos going to shortly start learning from the odin project. I've heard some people recommend going up to a certain part (seems to be the react section) within the java path and then switching to full stack open. what do you think about this?

    The one thing I do not like about The Odin Project is that there's no video options in the courses. I'm someone who learns well from video.

    I chose Zero to Mastery, but hear that Odin is great.

    • @bhutchin1996
      @bhutchin1996 Год назад +10

      I'd say 6 or 7 months, if that long. Do about 2-3 lessons a day and spend 2-3 days on each project. Skip Ruby on Rails altogether.
