    It's clear that you've put in a lot of hard work and dedication to improving your skills, and it's paying off. I ❤ how you've shown the difference between your first attempt and your second attempt. Don't ever give up on your goals, even if it takes multiple attempts to get there. Your determination and persistence will take you far. Keep up the great work!"

      It really has been a long journey to get to where I am now. Juggling a full time job and other responsibilities has put studying on hold but i'll be back on the grind in april!

    Thanks for this video and for going over your projects in the Foundations path. I too had stopped doing TOP after doing the first Rock Paper Scissors browser console-based project, so I had already done at least half of Foundations.

    I found pomodoro study technique to be very useful. Just short 25minute sessions and 5 min. Breaks. Things didn't click for me sometimes also. I just spend time with the concept and looked at short videos about it. That helped alot and I found that no matter how hard it seems, if I spent enough time (with also enough breaks! Very important) with it I eventually start to understand it :)

    So excited! Everyone's experience is so different. I'm now at flexbox and already work in webdesign, had some html/css experience but that's it.
    Can't wait to see how I go with js. If I'm a natural talent or belong into the struggling category.😂

      Wait you work at web design already?

    • @plantifulalexandra
      @plantifulalexandra 8 месяцев назад

      @@Iroh Yes with wordpress & elementor (which is why learning flexbox is rather easy for me). A lot of people do this nowadays without even any prior knowledge. And honestly: For my clients I need no custom coded websites. Would take too long, too expensive + they wanna manage the website themselves after. But it's great to get more into coding for customization. And you never know what happens in the future. If I ever need to get another job again it's be great to apply for developer jobs with knowing js or other languages. :)

      @@franko8572 Hey, i am asking if it's okay if I use windows for the curriculum , will i encounter any problems if I solve everything in windows ? Cause it says not supporting windows..

      @@youtubejproasters1224 It is possible to get most of the needed elements running on Windows. Yet, many of the required scripts and programs were written for Linux, or Mac systems with Windows as more of an afterthought. There are often issues with mismatching versions, out-of-date installers and other similar conflicts. You’re likely to find things that work on one day breaking unexpectedly, with cryptic error messages. Even google is likely to betray you here, because a majority of the answers you’ll find on the net assume you are using a Unix-based system. In short, it’s not required, but it will make being successful very difficult. Did you install Linux?

    • @youtubejproasters1224
      @youtubejproasters1224 Год назад +1

      @@franko8572 Well first I did install WSL, but eventually after reading and asking , I decided to move into Linux, so I made a visual box machine and installed xubuntu and will be working for Odin project with Linux, although I am totally zero knowledge on Linux, but so far no problems I downloaded vscode there as well and chrome! Thanks a lot for answering and making it clear! Good luck on your journey as well 💪

      @@youtubejproasters1224 VSCode is good, but VSCodium is basically VSCode without all the telemetry that Microsoft imposes. I went back to Linux because of problems with Windows 10, and now Windows 11 wants you to have a Microsoft account by default. Sure, getting one is free and all that, but Linux doesn't require anything like that. Microsoft got TypeScript right; I really like how TypeScript code gets transpiled into relatively error-free JavaScript. Ubuntu and other Debian-based distros are good; most of the time they work right out of the box without requiring a lot of configuration.
